I appreciate what Vieira tries to do, that he thinks about the game, tries to get the ball down and pass it and spread the play, but I think in general he is too slow on the ball too often now. Today I thought he was poor in the final third - when he received opportunities himself, he would step on the ball or let it roll over his feet; and I don't think he was making a lot of dangerous passes - he was spreading the ball well at times, but considering how Vieira was doing at crucial moments, I think it's unfair to blame the full backs for poor crossing. I agree with bluenine - Balotelli was Inter's best player in his time on the pitch, was Inter's main threat, and provided Cruz and Vieira with good chances that they both missed; and Maicon's crossing wasn't great especially first half, but he was working up and down the flank well.
Vieira was also tripping, or looking to trip too often for my liking when Parma were on the attack.
