However the above stats show more the petty biases of inter fans rather than how well a player played. Vieira was excellent today. I could understand ibra scoring higher because of the goals, and balotelli, but no-one else.
    Thanks 110%

There would be some bias re players like Zanetti and J Cesar (who are our top 2 players of the season) for obviously reasons, but you cannot deny the performances of Rivas and Maicon today. Rivas was a rock today, this is why I was hoping he starts ahead of Burdisso. He completely outshone Materazzi, who was also playing one of his better games. Maicon had as good a game as Balotelli IMO, he was immense... in the first half, all our attacks came from him.

I think the bias is the other way round, Vieira was not excellent by any standards today. I thought he did ok, had a good half and a poor half. If I have to single a few players out for praise, it would be Ibra, Balotelli and Maicon. JC also did not make a wrong step the entire game, even tho he did not have too much to do.

I don't understand your "bias is the other way around" point. For example neither myself nor tito are arsenal fans.

All fans have their favourites but nowhere is this more apparent than amongst fans of serie A teams. But it is no big deal, except that it should not be used as an indication for how well a player played.

If you look at Ibra's average score of 9.89 that means he scored 10 from most supporters and a few 9s brought it down. He did well but 10? Clearly he is also a fan's favourite along with balotelli.

JC didn't have much to do although he made a couple of good saves but also could have conceded a penalty. Maicon was beaten a couple of times, and fucked up a couple of times when he got forward, although he did eventuallly get an assist which artificially boosts his score.

Materazzi spent the last 20 mins giving away free-kick after free-kick so his score is higher than it should be. He is just lucky Parma didn't make more of them. He could also have given a way a penalty. You must be joking if you scored him the same as vieira (at least overall the inter fans could see the difference Wink).

Vieira is far from a fan's favourite so his score is artificially low, but in any case if you adjust the scores to account for favouritism you end up with the order:
    ibra
    balotelli
    vieira

This would have been my order for the top 3 players, with rivas as the only debatable one to possibly be in. For me he did well but not better than vieira.

Yeah, but Vieira was very good in EPL... whether you like to believe it or not, you have a bias towards him as you are calling his play yesterday as "excellent" and putting with up there with Balotelli. It was hardly excellent, and Vieira is capable of a much better performance day in day out.

Sure we have some favourites, but players like Rivas are not one of them. In fact Vieira is easily a bigger favourite than Rivas. The fact that most Interisti (including me) have rated his performance yesterday above Vieira's cannot be attributed to bias.

IMO Maicon was tremendous yesterday. Just coz he got beaten couple of times or fucked up a couple of crosses doesn't mean he wasn't great... almost all our attacks came through him. Vieira screwed up more than a couple of times btw. Zanetti was his usual dependable self, recovered balls for us so many times - he was also covering up for Stank and Vieira in the centre. J Cesar didn't give away any penalty - that was not one... again was his usual dependable self like he has been all season.

As for Ibra, I am sure you can understand his near 10 rating - everyone's ratings are bloated coz of the scudetto euphoria, but a player who comes in the secodn half by when our scudetto hopes were fading quickly, and completely turns the game and scores 2 scuddetto winning goals, IMO the only people who will not give him a 10 are people like me who never give anyone a 10!

I guess we have a difference of opinion. I have given my ratings above, so you know how I see the game. Lets agree to disagree on this.

I think Mancini will resign after today's Coppa Italia game.

There are reports that Chelsea have snubbed Mancio & don't consider him good for the job. And given that they will be gunning for the CL again, Mancio is definitely not their man
