    Hope Croatia do well too.

They've got great players & can play some good footy (& Bilic is OK too; good to see a manager with an earring). Apart from that I've Srna and Petric (c) in my FF team. A trashing of Austria would set me up nicely.

Croatia v Germany (2nd matchday) could be a great match. Hope the Croats still have the German's number (they got it the 1998 WC).

    Poldi spielt! Schweini zittert!

Was macht Jogi Löw (48) gegen Polen im Mittelfeld?

Certainly, well at least this is the line up I would predict

    Boruc

    Golanski-Bak-Jop-Dudka

    Lobodzinski-Guerreiro-Lewandowski-Krzynowek

    Smolarek-Zurawski

That should leave us with a balanced enough team with a solid back 4 + keeper, a DM and a more AM along with the two wingers. Of the front two Zurawski will drop back aiming to provide a more creative touch while Ebi bombs forward, hopefully using his pace to good effect.

The alternative is that we put Dudka into central midfield to protect the back 4 even more and slot Wawrzyniak in at left-back. All depends really on whether we're going to attack Germany or sit back and hopefully scrape a point.

I've paid heavily for Poldi & Klose in my FF team, so your boys better deliver tonight Otto !

If they can't deliver against the Poles (who don't have any players left because you've already stolen all the good ones) you'd better shut up forever Ale

I would think 16 times about Poldi or Klose

a Pole would only have to think once

at the World Cup both players mysteriously failed to convert excellent chances

I would not complain , if Loew played BAM and the LISPY WASP up front

    it's not easy

at Germany 2006 Klose and Poldi missed excellent chances against the Poles

    they were CLEARLY inhibited

    HOWEVER

    the MONSTER HAS to start

play him alongside BESSER ALS MESSI (BAM) is a good compromise

the PRINZ, allegedly , is on fire in training and undroppable on current form

ONE Pole only at the front is a good solution

Lothar Matthaus predicts: Germany 2-0 Poland

"Two years ago Germany showed they were a better side than Poland at the World Cup - Poland simply were not at the races and allowed Germany to dominate the game for the entire 90 minutes even if the end result - a 1-0 win - did not exactly show that.

Germany are boosted by having two players in their side with Polish links - Lukas Podolski and Miroslav Klose - who know their opponents well.

But Poland should not be underestimated, and they have a fantastic coach in Leo Beenhakker who has already achieved a great deal on the international stage and is always good for a few surprises.

It won't be an easy game because the Polish will defend deep and try to hit Germany on the break. They are not able to dominate possession against a team of Germany's class - Germany will be left to enjoy far more of the ball and I believe with the striker's they have, goals are inevitable."
