Verbeek, who used to manage him at Heerenveen, says Pranjic can play left fullback. He even said Bilic asked him to let Pranjic, who plays attacking winger for Heerenveen, play that role (fullback) during training occasionally.

Guess Bilic expects Pranjic to contribute a lot to build up (& will have little to defend).

Its a good move actually, I have seen a couple Heerenveen matches that he was left fullback. Thats his strength just covering the entire left flank, just like Zenden.

Like I said earlier, it makes sense to play those pacy strikers against the rather old and slow central defence of Croatia. Simunic & R. Kovac are very experienced, but past it also, probably a weak spot of this Croatian side.

Starting Linz and Harnik makes a lot of sense.

Croatia are clear favourites to win though.
