Re: Scolari is new Chelsea Manager!
dreadful choice
Scolari was the one interested in signing for England and then withdrew when the media started lurking on his doorstep
he'll hate the press
(does not even speak English)
+
he has not been in club management for an eternity
+
expectations at Chelsea are ridiculous: Grant lost the CL only because Terry tried to discover his inner leader
and was then SACKED
how can Scolari top this in his first season
he will need AT LEAST one season to get used to the EPL
as I said
DREADFUL choice
I feel sorry for Ballack who is so keen to win the CL at least once

course not
Brazil = Samba
Portugal = Fado
As an icon yes but it is not as all portuguese are melancolic and all brazilian are party-goers
Lots of portuguese don´t like Fado because of that but respect it as an icon of our culture.
As for the brazilian they are probably the hapiest people in the world. A big to them

As long as Lampard is around, you'll never totally get rid of it.

I'm nearly speechless
Out of respect for his current role as Head Coach of the Portuguese national team, and to ensure minimum disruption to this work, there will be no further comment from Chelsea FC nor from Felipe about his new role until his employment with us commences.

brilliant choice
Greece got MORE points in the qualifiers than ANY other country
give Rehagel half-decent players and they are 100% sure to win the CL in their first season

He was pure class, i've watched tons of Porto games with him on goal and in the final he was so calm and in control. He is a Porto legend. Any fan that watched him at the time will know him.
I've heard that after being european champion he returned to Poland but he managed Porto's youth team a few years later.
He is back at Poland at the moment?

Re: Scolari is new Chelsea Manager!
If i were a Chelsea fan i'd probably be optimistic, however... he can't speak very good English, if Mr.Abramovich's threshold is one season, then he won't have a chance to adapt, let alone build a winning team.
If they give him 3 years for example Chelsea *could* not only stay competitive, but play some half decent football.
I guess we'll just all have to wait and see what the arrangements are and the revolving door for players this summer.

Re: Scolari is new Chelsea Manager!
Chelsea starting XI under Scolari?
Will Scolari stick with J Cole, Malouda, Kalou and Wright-Phillips or bring in some new?
What type of striker will he want to sign to replace Drogba? someone quick and mobile or a target man
Cech
Bosingwa . . . Carvalho . . . Terry . . . . A Cole
Essien . . . . . Ballack
Deco
RW? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . LW?

He's a coach of goalkeepers in Lech Poznań right now. You rarely see him on TV here among so called pundits ( which means that he's a decent man) but when he appears he always talks sense. Great guy and a legendary keeper
