Another referee who completely destroys a good match : when will they ever learn *not* to send someone off for something like that

The "denying a goalscoring opportunity"-claim doesn't work, because when a penalty has been given the goalscoring opportunity is still there...


Poor Belgians all referees seem set to find a way to send them off

Brazil is really struggling with Cameroon. If this is the best that Brazil can offer at a U23 level then they really lack some firepower. Cameroon is hanging back waiting to counterattack, and despite Brazil's possession then they aren't creating anything.

Has anyone got a clue whether the Dembele goal should have stood or not ?

Looked to me like the ref was trying to make up for sending one of the Belgians off, but funnily enough none of the Italians protested : normally a pretty good sign the ball *did* cross the line...

Another game when Italy's opponent has to play with one player sent off, lucky bastards...

Brasil vs Cameroon game is absolutely horrible to watch in 1st half. Fouls are great though .

*if* the Belgians make the semifinal (and that's a big "if" with 10 against 11) they could use another CD, because Vermaelen will be suspended.....

1st goal was not clear enough to call it a goal, but our defense and midfield has been poor and Rossi doesn't seem to be having a good day as well.

What are your thoughts on Benjamin's performance yesterday (he's new to the HSV squad, right ? ) : I thought he was pretty good, will be an important player for you this season

If not: He's been here for the last...7 years. And he certainly has no place in the first 11, if everyone is fit. He's a nice guy, but...nothing more than a substitute.

Aghaa, so he's always been Cr@p before....so that's why I don't remember him

Well, I thought he was ace yesterday and I'm predicting he'll get a lot of minutes this season. Maybe not as defender, but certainly in midfield.

Nice run by italian fullback (right midfielder?), but finished with bad cross and gave a chance to opponents to counter-attack. They did it well and Dembele scores from 16 meters with nice shot. 3-2!!!

I've told you time and time again how brilliant he was !
