Agooner - he did something good in a friendly did he ?
Makes up for his total ineptitude in big games over the years obviously
Didn't score but pulled off something your best friend 'Cheva' could only dream off.

(btw, what's wrong with this board...any England match would have at least 15 or 16 pages, this one is only 6 and mixed in with other matches...not even any mention of Terry making Baros look like Ronaldinho, except a few posts in the captain thread).

Why not try that for a game? Plenty of pace and creativity with enough experienced heads required.

This is the first friendly match since the forum began not to be on the BBC, away friendlies may not have been but home would definitely have been, so most people would at least go to the effort of watching the match.
Now friendlies are stuck on Setanta so nobody can really be bothered to go and watch them and the first friendly of the season is always a bore, it also can't have helped that the Olympics is taking up a lot of time for most people.

No fucking way am I paying for Setanta to watch some shite England friendly.

Yeah. I've considered it in the past but apparently Setanta as a company is a disgrace...and they f@ck people over if they ever want to cancel.
