Barry instead of Carrick considering it's England.

Agree with basically the rest of the team though.

    ................ Barry .... Hargreaves

Toulalan's pass to Sagna to set up benzema goal, and an unbelievable pass to Malouda for Govou's 1st goal were both superb! Of course, henry's flick was superb too. Overall, France played some good football.

RVP's goal is super too. But Lahm-marin combo goal caps the night. Superb stuff.

Why do people keep suggesting Bridge? When's the last time he even played? Average player anyway.

Cole doesn't really offer a whole lot of productivity going forward, but he generally provides an outlet, and is very solid at the back. One of the best LB's in the world.

This is the first friendly match since the forum began not to be on the BBC, away friendlies may not have been but home would definitely have been, so most people would at least go to the effort of watching the match.

Now friendlies are stuck on Setanta so nobody can really be bothered to go and watch them and the first friendly of the season is always a bore, it also can't have helped that the Olympics is taking up a lot of time for most people.

Caught the highlights and have gotta say, Wes Orange is a complete liability at this level. With G.Neville or Richards, we wouldn't have conceded that first goal. With G.Neville, we probably don't score our first. With Micah, we might.
