    When?

    About 30 or so occasions.

    I mean which International competition?

Euro 96, World Cup 98, Intertoto Cup 2005. The list goes on.

Euro 96 <Ale> but English atmosphere helped him

    WC 98 Owen was better

    Intertoto 05 shit tournament

Ruud was LC, EPL, La Liga and Eredivisie top scorer a few yrs ago, scored 4 gls in Euro 04 with only robben to help him

Shearer's goalscoring record in English football is better than 1 in 2. His record in cup football is better than 1 in 2 and his record in Europe is better than 1 in 2. He scored 30 goals for England in 63 games. Overrated textbook striker my arse ok

My man Ruud scored 33 gls in 64 caps for Holland and counting. If he didn't missed a lot of penalties, his goal scoring record will be much better. Shearer's goalscoring record is better than 1 in 2 my arse ok

what? It's not a debate! He played 725 top flight games and scored 374 goals.

    How many penalties?

I know Ruud dived for a lot more penbalties than shearer

Anyway they are both great players who think ferguson is a c**t so what's the problem

Ronaldo was indeed better than both (and he also thinks ferguson's a c**t).

I don't like or rate Ruud. So not sure what your post is about.

yeah, but most of the goals were scored in conservative EPL a few years ago

    they still count!

EPL 2001 season, Shearer was 31 he scored 23 goals. Ruud was 25, he scored 23 goals

Becks-Ruud partnership is a kind of ideal partnership in world football. I don't why, but I think they work well than Becks-Ronaldo but Zizou+Figo-Ronaldo is also awesome

Probably because RVN was actually quite good at heading the ball whereas Ronaldo was not.

It was Ruud first year in EPL so still think Ruud is better than Shearer
