I saw that, but IMO Torres and Drogba are having below par seasons mostly coz of injuries. You take that bit out, they deserve their place among that list.

Because any old player can score alot in Germany. You look at their top scorer charts over the last 5 years and they're very much a who's who of who the fuck.

At 19 yo Pato scored 19 goals in 40 Serie A matches. The only player in Serie A history that had better stats at such a young age was Giuseppe Meazza in 1928/1929. And his stats ain't everything. He is fast, skillful, can great his own chances, good in the air, finishes well with both feet. IMO he is the best teenager striker since fat Ronaldo and he has everything that it takes to become the best striker in the world in the near future.

I think this sums it all up nicely

    VORONIN DOUBLE SENDS HERTHA TOP

Andriy Voronin hit a superb double as Hertha Berlin beat Bayern Munich 2-1 to take top spot in the Bundesliga.
The Ukraine international - who is on a year-long loan from the Reds - gave the home side the lead seven minutes before the interval before grabbing the winner on 77 minutes after Miroslav Klose had pulled Bayern level.

It means Berlin are now one point clear of TSG Hoffenheim with Bayern Munich just behind in third position.

    Or if that isn't enough

His goal in the Carling Cup against the Yids last season. His one in the league against Blackburn. I'm sure there is still a few more. I admit there are still sides of his game which are a bit raw but time is on his side and im sure there is much more to come from him. I don't see people's obsession with playing Eduardo with RVP instead.

No the one where we lost 5-1. Scored nicely from outside the box.

The one your talking about is the one he flicked up and volleyed to make it 1-3

    Shaz is right

A bit like kuyt when Ade is running with the ball you never think a powerful shot is going to result. Sure on the odd occasion it will happen but never very regularly

Re: the Eduardo vs Adebayor. I don't think this team is good enough to not have a TM. I would still prefer a hard working Adebayor (he's been very lazy this season - in fact its been from the last 1/4 of last season) or a consistent Bendtner.

Unless Ade leaves there really isn't a chance of seeing a consistent Bendtner Laughing

I like to see someone better this goals per game record for his club at the moment:

    06/07: 49 (4) Apps, 23 Goals
    07/08: 46 (3) Apps, 42 Goals
    08/09: 28 (4) Apps, 14 Goals
    Total: 123 (11) Apps, 79 Goals

But these goals were scored by a winger and not a striker.

For me the best striker is still Eto'o.

The best Big striker is now Ibra, since the demise of Drogs.

Torres & Villa are definitely up there though.

RVP & Ade should be the best partnership, they're tailor made for one another.
