You're damn right I'm bitter, I watched that match in disbelief how such a talented side could be beaten (undeservedly) by such a bunch of talentless grafters Razz

Keep up the insults, they make me cry every night. Ale

Well seems as we've made a net gain on the transfers I'd say that potentially finishing fourth is damn good!

    No, it's merely good.

Merely benig compared to a team that makes a significantly larger investment than us year on year surely means that Wenger is doing a good job?!

A good job? Yes, except for the racism (which we needn't go into again). A great job? No. Like I said, budget cannot be the reason for success in good years and the excuse for failure in bad years (I'd say that scraping into 4th and winning nothing is a poor year for a supposed title-contender, which is the press Arsenal give themselves).

    The racism?!

Its not Wenger that made the decisions to sell players, its Dein, get your facts straight before you start making accusations of racism.

Cole has been saying that he got on really well with Wenger.

Alright, alright. Neither of us is going to get back to work unless one of us drops this, so I'm happy to let it slide for now.

Good chat though. One of the more potent and interesting exchanges I've had on here recently...

    lol!

A Liverpool fan whining about a penalty not being given to them, who would of thunk'd it.

It should be noted (and has) that a) Gerrard dived for his pen, 2)Dudek was about 4294m of his line when saving the penalties and 3) Sheva had a perfect goal disallowed. ok

    Most underserved winners ever. Ale

The words "twat" and "bitter" come to mind, though not necessarily in that order.

I've always said Gerrard dived for his penalty (well, I've said he "went down too easily") - it's justice for the one we should have, but didn't, have earlier in the game.

As for Dudek being "off his line" when the penalties were being taken - Milan can't really complain considering the way they won the trophy 2 years earlier.

The real irony here is a Man Utd fan is Utd fan commenting on penalties and other teams players diving. What number has Mike Riley been given for the new season?

Twat and bitter? Sounds like a good night out to me Obis Ale

@Saints, everyone down south loves Arsenal more than their own mothers. Liverpool is pretty much just considered another team by a lot of people while Arsenal is worshiped by a ridiculous number of people.

@3 cups won on pens: Liverpool earned their win against AC, no way was that unjust, any Englishman not cheering for Liverpool that night isn't a proper football fan. Arsenal didn't at any point deserve to win the FA cup final, they just got battered for 120mins and won on pens, not much we can do about that though.

I would also like to point out to people that Steven Gerrard does infact play for Liverpool so when he scores a screamer from 30 yrds out that does count as a Liverpool goal.

Still think Liverpool are a bunch of cunts.

Funny how some of u seem to think we still play the same kind of football as we did few seasons ago. That's simply not true. we still play the same passing game but our game was then based on quick counter attacks- we had midfielders who will close down and displaced opponents in their own half and send a quick pass to our strikers to start our counter attacks, our passing was way faster then. Now our game is based on slow patient build up and keeping possession which is suited to the european game. I can't really recall when was the last time we scored from a counter attack, that must be long time ago, that goes to show how our game has evolved because most of our goals used to come from counter attacks.

Bullshit, I am sick of people thinking that just because Liverpool FC originate from an English city they represent England in any way in Europe. No, they represent Liverpool only and I wanted them to lose 10-0. The bragging rights are theirs and they rub our faces in it as much as they can - as they should.

Do you think they let us "share" their victory? they are not our national team you know. It was Liverpool vs Milan, not England vs Italy and you do not set aside a rivalry like this just because it is a important European game.

@Owen, who gives a shit if Liverpool fans think it actualy makes them superior to have supported a team who won the cup. Why be so bothered about their being pathetic?

Liverpool does represent England and the Prem to a degree, as do all prem teams in Europe.

    Except City.

Edit: Actualy City never really play in Europe so it doesn't matter.
