The point is that we have a lead of 2 goals.
I hope Pep realizes that and dont rush as usual (at least lately) to attack and score a goal. We should maintain the possession and if a chance come then use it.
le the other team run and try to score, that will leave a lot of space for us, and if only score a goal, that's it. They will need to score 4, and no matter how we play i dont think that we will concede 4 or more goals.

Marc Bartra Aregal and Antolínez Carlos Planas

have been called up for the U-19 Championship team for spain.

former barca players Iago and merida were also called up.

more defenders, there is quite a few good prospects at the back coming though the ranks, these two plus the 3 for the U-17 team.

plus Marc Muniesa, our best defensive prospect, but a shoulder injury has kept him out this season

Montoya-Played every game for the U-17 winning team last year.

    Bolaños
    Edu
    Terron
    Valle

Botia, played his 1st game for the U-21 the other day.

la masia is starting to produce, all types of players now and not just litte Xavi's.

would probably be happier if the U-17 Won the cup with 3 barca defenders at the back, than them winning it with 6 players in the squad (4 starters) last year.

    Vamos LA MASIA.

Goodbye Hleb...he likes Bayern and from Rumenigge's comments you can tell there is an interest from Bayern as well.
    http://football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_5009158,00.html

Hopefully this means Ribery, who's getting increasingly annoyed (IMO for silly reasons) with his Bayern teammates cheers

And if Bojan does go on loan, then we're definitely going to see Villa, Aguero, or Benzema come in the summer. That is also my preferred order of who I'd like to see most to least Ale

We need the players, as Etoo will be off to the African cup next year. And Keita/Toure too.

We'll probably get a LB, swap Hleb and cash for Ribery, and get a striker if Bojan/Etoo leave, though both scenarios look unlikely right now. So just 2 transfers IMO.

Outgoings will be Sylvinho and Jorquera, both of whose contracts expire. And I personally would like to sell Gudjohnsen as well, but that won't happen as we'll be short in midfield during the African Cup. It's quite possible also that Henrique is called back and Caceres not loaned, so Marquez can play as the DM during Jan/Feb.

They've hinted at minimal spending, and while that won't happen if Ribery comes (even with Hleb being part of the deal), it's quite likely that the only change is a LB.

I think Ribery transfer will depend on Real Madrid wanting him, he wanted to go there before and they will offer more cash + one of the Dutch AMs.
If RM are interested I can see Ribery ending up there to honest but you cant say anything for certain.

@DS: I think Hleb is an equally tempting carrot (even if he's not orange...see what I've done there Razz ) considering Bayern have been interested in him since last summer. And Laporta-Bayern president (I don't know whether it's Beckenbauer or Rumenigge or Hoeness) have a good relationship, so you never know.
Also don't forget that Madrid only have elections in the first week of July...until then nobody will be making signings, just presidential candidates making promises based on deals with tapped up players. We can sneak in, in the meantime.

That's one of the names mentioned, but I don't know if that's very likely. Talk of Abidal going back to Lyon as well so that would mean maybe a first choice is needed rather than a backup. Let's see what happens.

Re. Bojan, I don't think he has asked for a loan move to get first team football. Obviously he wants chances at Barça, but I think the loan talk is just being generated by the media and other clubs making contact, who reckon Barça may let a teenage striker go somewhere on loan to get experience.

Messiah would say yes. The only thing that is for sure is Sylvinho is leaving. He is the backup. I'd have thought they'd go for a younger player who can (if possible) come to be Abidal's understudy someone like Roberto Canella from Sporting. Now if Abidal doesn't mind being the backup or if he leaves then they would go for someone more high profile.

Yes you can and probably will, but you have to say if it is a head to head race to sign him then you can see RM offering alot more than Barca.

It is a 50/50 for me at the moment, I think Ribery will move out of Bayern this summer so lets see where he ends up.

Marca are convinced that if Perez returns with Zidane in his sporting team that Ribery will come to Madrid. It will probably be the case that players like Ribery, Benzema, etc. will wait to see what happens with our election. If Perez wins and brings C. Ronaldo and we keep Robben, then surely Ribery would not come to us.

Chelsea, Man. Utd. (if Ronaldo goes to RM), and possibly Inter if Mourinho wants another crack at 4-3-3 with wingers, are all also possibilities, and all of them would outbid us.

really hope the ribery deal come though.

Don't want bojan to leave, but if he does then, i would love to see him go to Villarreal and we can even give them Caceres as well.

I think if given the chance, he will do great there.

    But it won't happen.

If we signed ribery and loan out bojan i won't think we will sign another strikers, because that would mean less time and the wings for henry, which means he will have to rotate with ribery and eto'o.

So if we sign another striker and ribery, henry would be pissed and would want to leave the club, not that i would have a problem with that.

Next season our front six should look like this

    LW: Ribery&henry
    ST: Eto'o & Bojan
    RW: Messi & Pedro

with Gai getting a few game during the season, now that he has his passport.

Then we will be in for him, we will maybe put a clause saying Real cant announce Ronaldo deal until we get a replacement which could be Ribery, not saying we will get him or he will move there but I think he will be the target if Real moves for Ronaldo.

Hopefully Zizou will convince to go for Ribery instead of Ronaldo. If Barca ends up with Ribery and we get Ronaldo it would almost be another Beckham-Ronaldinho faliure. Will be a good test to see if Perez has changed and whether he will choose hype/image over quality.

if ronaldo goes to madrid he would be a great success.

I think he would do even better in barca's 4-3-3,but he isnt worth the trouble.

Rumenigge is saying ribery won't go anywhere and that he and his agent are only making noises because he wants to sign for a "big team".

Well thanks for stating the obvious.

mean while Beckenbauer is said, he won't keep an unhappy player at the club.

so the question i want to ask is, who is the boss at bayern.
