Espanyol have bought Juan Forlin from Boca Juniors to replace Jarque. I've never seen him play, but he's quite highly regarded I think. Will hopefully develop a solid partnership with Pareja.

He was out with a lengthy injury when at Real. There were even rumours that when he went to Boca you tried to secure a first option.

Anyway, he is quite highly regarded in Argentina, and he was recently linked with Sevilla, Ajax etc. He's already been capped by the senior side too.

What are the chances that Atletico can be interested in selling Heitinga? Also, how you guys would see him in Premiership, maybe not in dominant CB role he was expected to be for Madrid, but a player drifting between playing CB, RB and DM?
How much Atletico did pay for him last summer?

The guy has abysmal for Atletico, playing mostly at Right Back. Very shaky defensively and prone to 1v1 situations.

Atletico paid 10m euro for Heitinga, I believe. He did well enough going forward, scored a few goals from right back. Not terribly solid defensively though. But in fairness, none of the Atletico back four was. All the dutchies swear he is best as DM. There were rumours that Atletico were trying to sell a couple of Pablo, Perea, or Heitinga in order to buy Jesus Gamez from Malaga so I think he could leave if the offer was right.

Heitinga is a DM. He's abysmal as CB, and only an attcking FB really. As CB he's an accident waiting to happen.

From the looks of it then Atleti should boot out that butcher Assuncao and play Heitinga at DM and bring Gamez at RB.

I think he would have a best chance to play week and week out for us as right back or defensive midfielder, and only being centre back as emergency. So he sounds like a decent move for us, hopefully it can be done (we are supposedly negotiating his personal terms). We'll see about it very soon...
