Don't be silly, I wouldn't murder Glenn. Kidnap him, conceivably. Pretend to be him for a while, definitely. But I wouldn't murder him.

No one is saying Kitson shouldn't be in, but Deco, Dossena and Shorey were better signings.
They're clearly not. Combined they've done little more than fuck all this season, Berbatov has 13 assists and 8 goals in the league alone.
That's a far too simplistic view though. Berbatov has a handful of goals at the cost of making Manchester United a worse attacking team than last season, making the players around him play worse. So the others have had no impact, but Berbatov could have cost United the title if they weren't so lucky.
What has Berbatov cost Man U? They still on course to win the league and the CL. Using that logic, if we bought a proper midfielder instead of Nolan then we might stay up. Same goes for Bullard at Hull. So surely they've damaged their clubs more?
We all know the real reason why he hasn't cost them anything and I don't want to get into that again. SAF is just very lucky on this one.
Nolan and Bullard might be worse, I don't see what this has to do with putting Berbatov in the top 10.
The point is there are many players that have cost their team more on the field, there are many players that have contributed less on the field, and there are many players that have been worse value for money to their clubs.

I think he should be exempt based on the Wenger principle (this is also my answer to saints' question) - Wenger's signings are mostly young players, so people always think "well I can't really put him in a top 10 worst signings list as he may improve, as he's young it could be a great signing in terms of a long term investment". And if they don't do anything in 3 or 4 years then by then they've faded from memory anyway and are hardly likely to appear on such "worst/best ... of this season" lists.

Also, Wenger does get lots of stick for Jeffers and Reyes. The likes of Cygan often go under the radar of people compiling such lists because they're squad players and you don't really expect that much when there's more bad signings around who were meant to be first team players.

Except in my own imagination, praytell, where does Wenger get a lot of stick?

Seriously? Jeffers has become a synonym for a shocking transfer. The whole "fox in the box" gag has been done loads of times. Same with Reyes, everyone looking back in hindsight calls him a shit signing. I don't have a very good memory of such things and don't have the time to look up sources, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

He cost £30m and has a stubborn manager. Doesn't mean anything more than that.
Apps = 33 (4)
Goals = 14
Assists = 9
I wouldn't call him a flop because i know he can do alot better and will do.

He also plays in a position Man U are currently weak with the disgrace that is nani letting them down
I'm not letting Fergie away with 8-10 million that easily

He is playing for the reserves. He made what two 15 min sub appearences....he clearly wasn't ready for the switch to start prem games at once. He looks a bit lightweight to me.

Im not saying that.
Just that he made his debut in the prem back in Jan, but aint played since. Didnt realise he was 22, thought he was younger then that.

Think they've got another Serb who is a kid.
I would guess Fergie chanced him with a couple of sub games at the end of won games..or meaningless games to see what he was made of, decided he wasnt ready yet and into the reserves he went.

If this was Xmas time, I'd have agreed with you (sadly), but he's shown a tremendous amount of Character to comeback from being a figure of fun. As F365 noted when Cech had his horror show in the 2nd leg against you lot:
That Cech is a shadow of the goalkeeper he was before suffering a fractured skull in October 2006 is not in dispute. His performances have deteriorated to such an extent that he is in jeopardy of losing his place and he would most probably be omitted for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final if only Chelsea still possessed a reliable and recognised alternative.
A penny, then, for Carlo Cudicini's thoughts. Having sat on the Chelsea bench for four seasons while Cech established a reputation as the world's best keeper, Cudicini departed Stamford Bridge three months ago for first-team football at Tottenham but has made just four appearances and has given way to the rejuvenated Heurelho Gomes since February. Coming soon on F365: The Worst Career Choices In The History of Sport.
If you want to look as Keepers, how about Given;
Newcastle's defence are no worse since he left, and Man City's are no better since he arrived. Plus he proved to be as big a mercenary as anyone in recent footy history when he jumped the sinking ship at the time he did. The leprechaun couldn't even wait until the season was over.

Blaming Judas for our defence is silly, and stinks of an agenda. We leak so many goals because of our midfield... or lack of. Bassong, Beye, and Enrique are 3 of our best players, defence is probably our strongest area man for man.
And Gomes, well he's just shit isn't he.

We all admire your attempts to stick with him T/S, but watching the United game from just a week ago does little to help your case.
He has done well to avoid this list, but is still a lovely big flop and a far from cheap lovely big flop

I can only look at the evidence, that he was the one constant in a defence that was poor for years.
As for Gomes, well, I'm happy with him now. John Terry is still wondering how his header never went in.
