    Eh...I'm agreeing with lrd Crazy

Elmander has been shit on stick.

Scored a couple of goals only. It was a really bizzare signing, never rated him, though they needed to replace Anelka which was obvious but Elmander ffs for £12M+ or whatever it was pale

Definetely should be on the list ok

Didn't a certain poster tell us Elmander was cheap at twice the price, it was a pisstake that Milner was going for a similar/higher fee, that Elmander would set the league on fire despite being at Bolton...?

In fact, I also recall a certain poster telling us that Nasri had cost less than Milner (which he didn't) and that he was three times the player.

I bet if one were so inclined, one could find all sorts of ludicrous statements made at the start of this season. Not that I'm suggesting anyone dig them up.

I'd imagine the Elmander comment was Pierre. He look's like one of Pierre's people.

Robbie Keane has to be nr1!!

20 million for a guy who couldnt hack it at the top, and ruined perhaps the EPL for Liverpool!

He is the personification of Spurs!

twas me - I'm an Elmander fan.

I think he would be a good budget Drogba/Iaquinta but the fee was very high.

He is a forward who can give a lot without necessarily scoring and that's what people are after.

He may have been a flop but he is better than someone like Owen nowadays.

Plus, if nothing else, he sort of made Roy keane leave the EPL - for that we should be grateful.

High considering his goal scoring record and the fact that he was 27.

Still only £8.2m though, not what Ade said.

    Keane - £ 20m

    Berbatov £30m

    Eduardo £7.5m

Seems decent because he works hard and makes good lay offs for team mates.

Keane is shit, berbatov is lazy and slow, Eduardo isn't cut out for the prem physically.

I'm not looking to take the piss, I think Elmander's a good player in the wrong league, or at least at the wrong club. I suppose you're right.

Saints... how do you think Guïza would do well in the Premier? I think he could be a good signing for a mid table club

I think he should be exempt based on the Wenger principle (this is also my answer to saints' question) - Wenger's signings are mostly young players, so people always think "well I can't really put him in a top 10 worst signings list as he may improve, as he's young it could be a great signing in terms of a long term investment". And if they don't do anything in 3 or 4 years then by then they've faded from memory anyway and are hardly likely to appear on such "worst/best ... of this season" lists.

He is 22 is he not ?

He also plays in a position Man U are currently weak with the disgrace that is nani letting them down

I'm not letting Fergie away with 8-10 million that easily Biggrin

for any other club he would be regarded a flop, but not for United who can happily piss away 10m on a 7th choice left winger who sees less action than Cooper's dad.

There are too many signings left off that list to even dignify it with a proper responce.

Saints, with regards to sigs. Even if we do discuss bringing them back, with some sort of rule...Some numpty would always push it that bit too far, and end up making us take them down again.

No idea, not sure if I've ever even seen him play. However, the quality of strikers in the EPL isn't particularly good outside the top four (and Spurs) so we do tend to import them.

Tosic cost around £3m, he was signed for next season.

We got him in early so he has time to adapt to a new league/country.

Only a fool would class Tosic a transfer flop.

    Crazy

if that's the case then Adam Ljalic is certainly the flop of the season.

13m on a kid who can't even move to England until 2010
