Why doesn´t Hummels play? He did always pretty well together with Höwedes in the central defence. scratch

Btw. Your Avatar is great, Haeschen. Khedira does look a little bit like a younger version of Helge Schneider, doesn`t he? Laughing

I also liked the picture of Höwedes playing golf. Very cool. Cool

Hummels has next to no match practise after his injury, so I guess Hrubesch won't want to take the risk to play him against Spain.

Oh, right, I forgot about that. Hmm, but still I think I would prefer this lineup

And I also somewhat wonder why Özil plays as second striker instead of Marin. Don't know it for sure, but I think Marin is the better finisher...

Pity though, we don't have any decent strikers in this age class.

Can anybody give me some indicators which handful of youngsters(obviously aware of the English players) that perhaps i shoud keep an eye out for?

Some to watch out for IMO:
Italy: Balotelli & Giovinco are obvious stars, Abate & De Ceglie could be the surprises.
Serbia - Babovic is the one I am most interesting in seeing - heard some good stuff about this kid! Also Kacar.
From Spain, I want to watch Krkic - can he achieve his potential. Ozil and Marin from Germany. Walcott from England. Those would be my picks.

Hetemaj and Sparv are playing well.

Not looking good, it's currently 1-1 but we are now down to ten men after Mancienne got sent off for a rugby tackle challenge in his own box. Sparv converted the penalty.

We are playing without a genuine target man anyway, so I guess our attacking mids will all play very variable roles and change their positions during the match.

I also prefer Ebert in midfield, but would bench Castro instead of Aogo for him. He rarely convinced me when wearing the German jersey.
