Typical Bayern and Van Gaal. Even against the "McFit Allstars feat. Oliver Pocher", a charity match, they took things seriously and scored 13 goals yesterday...

Re: FC Bayern 2011
After Beckenbauer's latest attack on Ribery ("Ribery is just using Bayern to further his own career"), the already existing tensions between him and the Bayern board have increased. There seems to be a lot of bad blood between the Kaiser, Hoeneß, Rummenigge and co.

He is Bayern, and he is the "Lichtgestalt des Deutschen Fußballs".
No way, not without some huge drama at least. He may concentrate on his job at FiFA though.

Hoeneß on ZDF right now: "We had set a dead line for Ribery, July 15th. Every big club in Europe (-> Real Madrid) knew this. After that, we were not willing to sell. We demanded more than €100m for Ribery, but no club offered that kind of money for him until then. That's why a transfer didn't happen."

Beautiful goal by youngster Müller against Milan right now, great buildup. Bayern has been dominating the match completely.

Bayern 1-0 up (Muller) after Ronaldinho sloppily gave away possession.
Bayern have looked good in the first 10 mins. Moved the ball well and have looked sharp.

Bayern looks really good, the Dutch hand is already visible. But its Milans 5th game in 10 days or so it wont say that much.
Still amazed that players from Heerenveen and Twente can go straight to Bayern.

Braafheid has actually been a disappointing in the preparation so far. Pranjic however improved with every match. I don't think that the former is starter material, the latter however is.

Well Edson just dont have the quality. You cant be average at Twente and then go to Bayern. Pranjic stayed way too long at Heerenveen though, he is in his prime now. Should have moved to a Dutch topclub and then to Bayern! I'm gonna miss his rat face
The fact that these clubs finish higher has more to do with the big clubs being shite then them being any good though.

I hate repeating cliches, but how many Bayern/Germany games will I need to watch before finding one where Gomez doesn't look hilarious in his failed attempts to score?

Well Germany games are unwatchable, so I reckon your chances are higher at a Bayern game. The worst thing is Gomez aint a van Gaal player at all! I doubt if he will fits in his gameplan, but since they paid 30m for him..
For the rest Bayern looks really well!

Re: FC Bayern 2011
Gomez is doing fine, everybody. The chances he's missed today (from what I've seen) weren't all that clear cut and heavily contested by the defense. Just keep watching.
Bayern look great so far.
Van Gaal.

Still..the passing and movement of the players from Bayern looks really well. G0mez on the other hand
Who is the Bayern nr 1 btw? Rensing or Butt? Bayern always had great goalkeepers, though they will never get such a great one again as in my avatar!

Re: FC Bayern 2011
3-1 and now 4-1! And that without G0mez!
Bayern does need a new goalie then, but where do they find a new Pfaff or Kahn even!
Now the best part, a van Gaal interview!

Re: FC Bayern 2011
Pfaff was great, but Kahn was surely another level up. Between 1999 and 2003 he was the best ever, in my opinion.
Anyway, that's in the past.
Personally, I'd like Frey or Akinfeev to be our number one with Butt as back-up and Rensing sold. He just never inspired confidence.

Re: FC Bayern 2011
Milan look fucking awful.
Bayern look a decent side. Not sure Tymoschuk is going to be a great buy though, don't think he offers much except fouls. Muller, Pranjic, Altintop, Sosa, as well as the young CB were very good. Rest were decent.
Like others have said, need a new GK though.
