Ach was.

    Alles Ansichtssache.

The first one looks the most promising, the second one is way too attacking (both Robben and Ribery can't defend for shit), the third one is even more lightweight.

    A good alternative to the 4-3-3, a 4-2-3-1:

    -----------Van Bommel---Tymoschuk------------
    --Robben-------Schweinsteiger--------Ribery--
    -----------------------Gomez------------------------

Hoeneß: "We intend to play Robben on the right."

Looks like 4-3-3 is going to be Bayern's system indeed, with Ribery and Robben on the flanks. Van Gaal doesn't like a double pivot 4-4-2, it's either diamond 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. With Ribery and Robben playing, 4-3-3 is more likely, or a 4-2-3-1 as posted above.

If everything works out as planned, Robben will have his medical tomorrow, and may play against Wolfsburg on saturday even. Bayern and Real agreed on the deal very quickly, just a matter of days. Bayern never intended to 'swap' Ribery with Robben, they want both.

That's what Hoeneß told the press.

Well, if we would now also sign Rafinha and played Butt instead of Michaelamity we'd be alright for this year.

Robben is one of the top five c**ts in football though. Damn, it will take some getting used to. I've hated his cuntish ways for so long.

He definitely is a c**t of the highest degree. Will fit in perfectly with Mark Van Bommel. Laughing

Excellent player though, there is no denying.

You need a good RB, probably a better CB, too, and definitely a GK. Rafinha would be a good buy, if you sign him that is. Going by Hoeneß' words, he doesn't intend to invest in the defence. But could be just talk.

If you really manage to sign Rafinha, too, you'll have two very strong flanks. Lahm & Ribery on the left, Rafinha & Robben on the right. Looks very promising on paper at least, could challenge the best of them.

But GK and CB need to be sorted out, too, especially the former.

According to BILD, you have to take a loan to finance the Robben deal, at least a part of it.

Nach BILD- Informationen muss der Robben-Transfer teilweise über Kredite finanziert werden.

    http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussball/bundesliga/vereine/bayern/2009/08/28/arjen-robben/stuermt-er-schon-gegen-den-meister.html

Shouldn't kill you, of course, but it's still intersting to see that your 'Festgeldkonto' seems to have vaporised in the last few years. This new strategy that started with the signings of Ribery and Toni a few years ago is considerably riskier than Bayern's business philosophy prior to that.

You spent around €75m this summer (Robben included), while earning around €20m from selling players. Even in the European context, that's a lot of money. And you may still sign more players.

Well, you have to take the wages into account also, which are quite substantial for a number of your players. Robben won't exactly be cheap either, being used to the handsome wages in Madrid.

Transfer fees are one thing, but it's the wages that can be a real bitch in the long run.
