Bloody hell, England win 7-1 against Slovenia - obviously suffering from Haris Vuckic's ban. Looked like England were resting players aswell.

    The scorers

    Lansbury
    Briggs
    Welbeck x2
    Delfouneso x2
    Ranger

Spain on the other hand are out because they have no talent. Unlucky Spain. Ale

    lol!

It is pretty funny how in both youth tournaments Spain recieved a lot of hype and expectation yet got nowhere in both. While the unrated England got to a final and look alright here.

I agree. It is funny how we used to be good at the kiddie competitions, but have put that aside to concentrate on the more important stuff. Wink

Who exactly was hyping us? I could have told you that with the Real Madrid cronies in charge of Spain's youth set-up we were going nowhere.

who hyped spain, i pointed out that a good few of spains midfield is either playing for barca or use to, that is something to be proud of, if other teams could do that, their fans would be doing the same, but with the madridista's in charge i knew they weren't going anywhere.

    4-0.

Both our first choice strikers were not playing, nor was our goalkeeper. drunken

Yep we got caned, but then it was a decent enough run for our team to get to the final in the first place.

Ironically, our second string played far better against you Teutons in the group stages.

More important was the senior's 2-1 friendly victory in Berlin the beginning of the year Ale

I think we missed a few players, too, could be wrong though.

A senior's friendly is more important than a competitive U21 Euro final? No wonder that you guys don't have the priorities right. Very Happy
