Good choice of him, he finally admits with this move he is realising himself he aint good enough for the true top. Something I told him before he even went to Madrid but okay. But Schalke is a decent club and Bundesliga teams will make him look good again.

And he didn't listen to you? The nerve of the guy. Send him to Accrington Stanley reserves to learn some manners.

Thursday's gossip column - transfers and rumours

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will look to lure Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to White Hart Lane in January as he attempts to improve the club's attacking options.

What about Gomez TS? Would say he's probably more limited than Huntelaar in open play.

Never rated Gomez either - he just stands between the CBs and waits for the perfect cross/through ball.

Huntelaar has improved - technically he's alright so he not the total black hole he used to be.

Still considering the hype he was getting 5 years ago, you wouldn't guess that Schalke would be where he ended up.

Agree with TS on Gomez. He is ultimately a whiter, taller, and more handsome Darren Bent. Now Lewandowski, there's a striker. Technically proficient, and can actually work the channels unlike Gomez. Lovely old school number 9. Known to the Germans as "the pole that got away".

TS, DON'T THINK ABOUT WINDING UP MY MAN KROOS! Grr

(motherfuckers, fuck this fucking world, the name of my new band is sooskill)

Yo Kroos - Ballack could hardly fucking move, let alone run. The opposite of the facking ranner. A slug of a player who, aside from a 6 month stint, rarely performed for Chelsea. Quality of the EPL was too much for him sadly...

I don't agree with TS, Gomez is a better striker than Huntelaar. He would be LETHAL if he wasn't such a pussy though. If he had Carsten Jancker's desire, he'd be AWESOME. As it is, he's merely Wayne Rooney decent

Just think Kroos, Gomez could be like the White Teuton Didier Drogba if he wasn't growing a vagina (which is quite normal for German players these days).

For comparison enthusiasts, scientific studies have confirmed that:

Adebayor >> Rooney >> Gomez = Peter Crouch >> Grant Holt >> Huntelaar

Ahhhhh vision! If only Spurs could buy it with their insane spending budget.

I rated Ballack and believe he was rarely allowed to show his best in Chelsea because Lampard had the AM position.

Adebayor was the only player in the Prem to get double figures in goals and assists last year. Horses for courses but I far prefer Manolito to Gomez, who at the Euros achieved the incredible feat of making Mario Balotelli look like an all-action workhorse.

He is going to Liverpool! Can't believe he STILL thinks he is going to make it in a better league.

Still, with albino and rabbit reunited, liverpool doesnt lack any teeth upfront anymore!
