Seems to be the same with SPORT and Cesc this summer. Already talking about a possible January move if Arsenal don't qualify from their CL group Doh lol!

The int'l break gives the tabloids some time to work off their transfer window hangover, then finally the season gets underway properly.

Is Mijatovic sill in charge? Laughing Or Valdano has some plan for Ribery (or Romania and Serbia) to do during this international break? Cool

(As Kas said, it is most likely to be yet another one of those fabrications in attempt for pushing the sale of the rag.)

who is not limited as striker when you get no support, (the real ronaldo, thats it) but his goalscoring record is better than from rooney and benzema

and robben ribery is more scary than the real madrid front,

and i disagree, ronaldo is far more overrated then ribery

and there are not many teams in the world they can stop both over 90 min, maybe chelsea

After the way the Ronaldo transfer went, I do believe there was some kind of pre-contract that Calderon arranged for Ronaldo to come this summer. Especially because the club bid 94 million for Ronaldo in one go without even meeting with ManU directives first. I'm sure that with a bit of bargaining that sum could have gone down to 75-80 million, while before announcing his candidacy Florentino was already quoted as saying that Ronaldo was not worth 90 million. (which was the figure that was rumored Madrid would have to pay for Ronaldo)

That being said, there's nothing special about getting a player like Ronaldo if that is the kind of sum you pay. Calderon shouldn't hype himself up as if he's some kind of bargaining genius.

    ok

All the world know that Moron over paid for him. The whole episodes leading up to and including the announcement by ManUre agreeing the transfer, suggest to me that there were a lot of efforts made to rescinder the contract he arranged and/or alter the condition at least.

Without that idiot, we'd have had done far better with new signings.

I don't blame Perez for the Ronaldo signing. I think most of the facts points to Calderon already having a deal in place. And it was quite a bad deal so Calderon shouldn't parade as if he has done something great. Im not so sure Perez would have signed him at least this summer if this deal wasn't in place. This now forces us to have two players don't quite fit in Pellegrini's tactic. Allthough knowing this Perez should have been pragmatic and consulted Pellegrini with regards to the signing of Kaka aswell but with Perez's ego he wouldn't let tactics get in the way of having a signature signing-

Maybe they don't fit exactly Pellegrini's tactics but you certainly don't hear the man complaining. If Perez wants to bring Kaka I'm sure the manager does not need to be consulted. You can always accommodate a great player.

    Perez is that you Question

Of course you are not going to hear Pellegrini whine about it because it is still great players and he isn't exactly in a position to demand things from a club of Real Madrid's stature.

Of course we all know the solution to the problem:

    Real Madrid C.F. 2009/10 Poster_seguro_traera_suerte

I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this interview and AS kept referring to the "giant" poster they made of Ronaldo. Ronaldo played along of course and kept talking how proud he was that they made that poster of him.

Surely, one of Ronaldo's proudest moments of his entire career Laughing

Not even Mourinho or Benitez would oppose a signing like Kaka. If given the choice of a DM and two defenders or Kaka then they'd probably choose the former, but not if they were getting other signings as well.

Wonder where CR9 will be hanging the poster? Probably above his bed.
