Our build up is so predictable.

Christ we look boring. No tempo or switches in pace just the same old walking pace football. I completely agree with Torrente and I have lost fait in Gago ever being that useful for us. When Roma-Fiorentina comes on im switching unless this changes.

Yeah for a Xerez match at home we don't need two DMs. Granero would've been the best player to start because right now we're having a lot of trouble unlocking their defense. At least we're winning though.

The first minute goal was almost a curse. The players have been in cruise control since then.

I think that even with Alonso we'll experience similar problems to today's with this 4-2-2-2. For this I think we need a more offensive player like Cesc to play with a DM and can cover more ground in the final third. Otherwise, Pellegrini needs to put on another midfielder (ahem, Granero!) and take out a striker.

At least we have looked reasonably comfortable defending set pieces.

This is beyond boring, and the constant silly free-kicks bieng given by the referee don't make it better.

Half time. Not a good half. Hopefully Granero comes on in the second half for Gago.

I would like to see us play more one touch football. Right now our players are way too static and predictable.

I think by now it's also clear that Higuain should be getting more minutes than Benzema. Benzema's price tag will ensure that he will get at least a few more weeks ahead of Higuain in the pecking order but hopefully Pellegrini will have the guts to change this if Benzema keeps underperforming.

Benzema has been disappointing especially because he looked pretty good in preseason. Was usually our most dangerous attacker. But he's been very underwhelming so far. Not sure if there is a good explanation.

Well he doesn't stretch the defense enough or make good runs so when teams park the bus he doesn't generate any danger. During preseason teams weren't nearly as defensive.
