Sorry Otto, I don't have the technial ability to "do a Saints" and carve up your post into nice manageable portions,

1) Your prediction was that Capello would be NO BETTER than Mclaren, because ultimately it was down to the quality of the players (or lack of, you insisted) playing for the three "lambs".
Fast forward a year, and Capello has led England through with games to spare, including a 4-1 and 5-1 HUMPING of the same Croatia side that, under Mclaren, beat England home and away.
In other words, you fell on your ARSE with this prediction, and are now ATTEMPTING to change the goalposts to whether Capello will actually ACHIEVE something or not in the World Cup proper. Very naughty
2) Podolski might well be scoring plenty of goals for Germany whilst not doing it at club level, but will the German Peter Crouch EVER become THE World's most recognisable MEGASTAR, as you claimed a mere 3 years ago?
The day he overtakes the likes of Beckham, Kaka, Ronaldo and Co. as the most ADOURNED poster boy of Football all around the Globe, I'll gladly bow to your Mystical Mayan Powers of Prediction.

Hiddink is one Dutchie that I rate, but he failed with the slightest pressure put on him. Great coach as an underdog, but always seemed to fall short eventually losing a semifinal, and this last experience not making it to the WC as the clear cut favorite.
