Messing with it a bit isnt it.

Youngs usually left..Milner often right..now we've got Big Stew coming in, raping everyone out of their positions.

    Go on Stew.

L r dd wrote:Yeah but Chelsea's defence aint all that. Cech is a good keeper but he's now prone to a howler or two and he's not as great as we thought he was. The rest are all good names but from Carvalho to whoever they make mistakes and are not unbreakable. Man Utd went to stamford bridge and should have won just a few weeks ago. They were always going to thrash Wolves so what's changed here.

In the next few weeks Chelsea go away to Arsenal and Man City. After those games the table could look very close, and im sure everybody will have changed their opinion again.

If Chelsea won both of those which they more than likely wont...then all this Chelsea hype would be justified.

Having more possession does not mean "should have won". When Barcelona came to Stamford Bridge last season, they must have had about 65% of the possession, and were by far the better team on the night in terms of the quality of football, yet their first shot on target was in the 93rd minute.

When Man Utd came to Stamford Bridge this season, the overall quality of football was better, yet the only shot on target you managed (to my knowledge at least) was an ambitious curling attempt by Rooney from 25 yards out.

11 clean sheets from 16 games isn't a bad record for an 'error prone' goalkeeper and a defence that is also likely to make mistakes.

My words three weeks ago..spot on as usual. LRDGIC

You're referring to 2 games which were played before today. We won 1 of them 3-0.

Says it all that, despite how poorly you rate this Chelsea team, Man Utd can only be (at best) level on points with us by the end of the day. Ale

Well, Young can play either foot, while Downing's a natural leftie and Milner from all reports is adapting well to central life - so it seems the more natural set-up. Plus with Downing just coming back from injury, it's probably better to have him wide than throwing him straight into maximum responsibility in CM.

True true. Stew can play with either foot too mind you. His right foot, so the legends say, is actually made of reinforced steel and wood.

Btw - I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but Jimmy Bullard las weekend's injury isn't as serious as we feared, he should be back in 2 months.

Rooney's dummy to Valencia and link up is amazing. Whenever he gets on the ball or goes near it suddenly huge space is created.

1725: Everton boss David Moyes on his side's 3-3 draw at Chelsea: "It was terrific. With the team we brought here today, to get a result it was top notch. Louis Saha was fantastic. He played like a real centre-forward and caused them problems all day. He was nearly unplayable at times. If we got all our players back we'll be a match for anybody."

    lol!

His goal came through Drogba clearing the ball onto his head. Very unplayable ok

Great cross by Ashley Young, poor defence by Fletcher, allowing waaaaay too much space for Young before he crossed the ball.

There were already at least two situations where United clearly lacked a profilic goalscorer with Rooney not having a target to pass for from dangerous spots.

I thought that Villa playing 4-4-2 will be easily overrun in midfield... and it's quite opposite for a long stretches, United midfield looks quite disorganized when pressing.

What a pleasure it is to see Stewart Downing play football.

Booked his place in the world cup squad with that performance I think.
