Nani again did most things right. Rooney just magic and Scholes still an important player to my surprise. City made a usually boring league cup double tie very exciting so fair play to them for that, but with all their talk and early optimism and perceieved greatness this is one big BANG
Well im still really gutted we got doen in injury time again. U*d edged it in the second half but we did well. Funny how U*d dont give a shit about this cup but play a full strenght team against us even running the risk of getting camel face banned for an extra game...it shows they see us a threat. Their fans used to say they dont care about us, we're not a concern but given their reaction its clear they now do care. This all shows we are going in the right direction. Last night wasnt our night but we are moving in the right direction giving a good account for ourselves despite missing a number of first team players. Credit to Boyata fore such a young inexperiance player he has done very well.
Amazing atmosphere in our end never stopped singing never heard a sound out of the U*d fans. It was heavily policed, saw bits of trouble (a city pensioner got him by a rag who was filled in and few other fights) but they were pretty on top of it were i was walking into the ground. Although they stood about and did fook all when we had shit thrown at our bus, the one in front had the window smashed in and police did nothing.
Got to say though id have laughed if i wasnt so angry but when i got out the ground first accent i heard from a rag fan was a cockney
...typical.
I think U*d are becoming so reliant on rooney, id be worried if i was them, they are ok for now but they are going slowly down hill Vidic will be off in the summer, Scholes, Giggs, VDS, Neville and Fergie wont be there in 3 or 4 years time and they have crippling debt so it will be interesting to see how they replace them.
Anyway we are in a good position to finish 4th and a decent draw in the 5th round of the FA Cup, so hopefully we can push on from here starting against Pompey on Sunday.
Oh yeah and Carlos Tevez is a fucking legend !
