Nope I said I didn't watch as much as I do now and mainly watched my 3 Spanish teams,I used to watch mainly Italian football in the 90's.

He said he was 19 and a half and he has supported all his teams for 8 years (including the Spanish ones), yet had never heard of the deaths of Jarque and Puerta.

The persona has a few holes. I would advise him against becoming an international supporter of 20 years as part of that persona. In the early 90s it was only universities that had fast connections, and webstreaming had not been developed, so there was no way for him to watch Spanish football at that time. Just a tip.
