Fabregas is AHEAD of play. He then swings his foot back while still ahead of play. Puyol comes from BEHIND play while Fabregas is in the motion of shooting and obstucts Fabregas' shot

As I said it is open to interpretation, but from where the ref was it looked a very clear foul, which I agree with.
Does the obstruction rule also apply if you stand behind a player??? I'm not sure, don't think you have to make way for someone moving his leg backwards.

Can understand the ref gave it, but imo Puyol did nothing wrong.

by the way saw th Pool match. They kept on repeating that situation in which Luisao got 2 yellows. Weird.

Pretty lame S4P. You don't have to be bitter just because i owned you a few posts up.

It was just as far away as all the other penalty shouts we've spoken of.
The Stamford Bridge pitch size I knew of was in yards, so you're right on that one, but even when you "own" someone, you still post incorrect statistics (see the Barcelona website for the actual pitch size) lol!

I'm surprised Pep didn't give Marquez a runout last night. At least Milito has played recently, so match fitness is not a concern with him.

Could we really see Toure play at CB alongside Marquez? Or perhaps Pep will go for a 3-4-3, with Alves-Milito-Abidal at the back (Toure/Busquets dropping deep to cover for Alves) and Maxwell in midfield again?

Toure alongside marquez, i think he mean milito, and yes that is what we will see IMO, if yaya's injury isn't serious.

with ibra out and if iniesta is back, this is what i think will be the starting XI

    -----------------VV

    ---Alves----Yaya-----Milito---Abidal

    -----------Busquets---Xavi

    ---Pedro--------Iniesta/Messi---------Kieta/Iniesta

    -----------------Messi/Bojan

Yes, I meant Milito of course Embarassed

    I think it'll be:

    Valdes
    Alves-Milito-Toure-Abidal
    Busquets-Xavi
    Pedro-Messi-Maxwell
    Henry Doh

Don't think Iniesta is ready yet. With Keita or Bojan as the "12th man" depending on the game's situation.

Am kind of nervous about this game. Got a feeling arsenal will get an early goal and make it difficult for us.

I think Arsenal will start well and do a much better job of pressuring the Barça defenders, making it difficult for them to create any play. But in terms of goals I'm very worried about the opposite scenario: Arsenal scoring late to leave our players with little time to react if the match hasn't already been wrapped up.

That's what i'm wary of. Don't expect us to score early, but if we're still in with a shout after 60 mins then you could start to get worried as we always get stronger as the game goes on.

If true, it's a huge advantage for Barça because Campbell will definitely play now, and Arsenal's midfield will be very lightweight. And of course, one less option on the bench for them.

But I'm not buying it at all until the squad is announced. Wenger is notoriously unreliable with injury news.

Are you sure?, Cause I'm dreading the prospect of having to play marquez.

Given our recent injury mini crisis, i think we will pretty much see the exact same team and system as we did @ arsenal.

    Alves - Yaya - Milito - Abidal

    -------Busquets - Xavi

Hopefully iniesta will at least be on the bench.

It just came to me that the club will need to put in strict measures in place, in order to keep WENger away from masia, and JDS if he is in the first team, we must protect out kids from this man.
