Re: Will Barcelona go through?
Of course they can, although Liverpool definitely has the advantage now. Anything is possible in football.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
I changed it to "will"
So you might change your vote...basically, would you put money on us going through?

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
I wouldn't put money on it, because I don't bet, but I'd say it's 60/40 for Liverpool now. Before the match today, I said 50/50.
You still have a chance and can go through. If you will is a different question I can't answer, because I'm no clairvoyant.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
Course they can, I refuse to get drawn into whether they will or not. If they are to get through they need to do what no other team apart from Galatasaray has done this season - score two past Reina.
The only three teams who've come to Anfield to play our 'first choice' side and actually got a positive are Blackburn (whilst we were playing poorly), Pompey and Everton. The latter two were the most negative performances of the season and you can't afford to do that, not that you would anyways.
We'll see.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
I think they can, but at the same time if liverpool play crouch and wack balls up to him, i don't see how the barca midgets can deal with this, most of them dont want to defend also

I don't think they will. I think it'll be a 1-1 draw.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
No. Liverpool are very solid at the back, so if they need to kill the game they can. And there's no guarantee of Barca's defence turning up, so Liverpool should get at least one goal in the second leg, meaning Barca need two just to get extra time.

It's not over by a long chalk. Barcelona have the players to produce a brilliant performance.
We will need to be at the top of our game.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
I voted yes as they cant play that badly again and the game yesterday surely must have made them realise they dont win games just by turning up and having the best players.
Although if Valdes/marquez/motta are playing then they will concede goals and only I cant see them doing an Arsenal at Anfield.
I dont mind who goes through, if Barca go through they will only get better and may regain there form from last season, which is bad for everybody else. As despite yesterdays shocking performance I would rather play pool than Barca.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
m very sure that they wont be able to get past liverpool.if liverpool just hold their own i cant see anything but liverpool going through. it will prob be a repeat of the first game with barca playing it around and not really being a danger. im putting some money on liverpool to win late in the game when barca will be giving up.

I very much doubt besides the 6-3 business, Lpool hardly concede a few at home, i can't see Lpool not scoring at home.

Hahahahahahaha!! His pussy header...
Ivan the man has been fairly good for us since his revival. Setup/scored against Munich was okayish at the back.
Hell i'd have Marquez over him any day... Just not yday

And oh yes.
Who's more important to Barca; Ronaldinho or Eto'o.
Last night answered your question.

Way too negative mate. It's a game of football, anything can happen. You've got the players, if they're on form.
It's not like you're 3-0 down at half-time in a CL final or anything

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
People saying "it can't get any worse" don't realise that we Barcelona fans have been saying that after every major game we've played this season (and drawn or lost it). So my hope is kind of at an all time low right now.
Anyway, the board voted 68% No, similar to the percentages in Spanish papers Marca and Mundo Deportivo.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
I would say Liverpool and Rafa tactically is very good @ these UCL games and I think Liverpool will go through. We shall have to see how Barca's form is until the next match as they are very capable of scoring more than two goals.

Re: Will Barcelona go through?
They won't even need to score more than two goals as long as they don't concede any. The last part seems to be the hardest though.
