Borja would be a very good buy by Sevilla... but what's the source for this article? They've got it wrong about Dabo's being a free agent, so I'm not sure how serious part regarding Borja can be...

Great news for Atleti...anyone else remember when Pablo was actually good?

Would be a disaster if Quique did not continue. I think even if they got someone like Manzano it would be much better if Quique could give them continuity.
Also, Mario Suarez was really good this year. Would be a good buyback if Atletico execute the clause.

RUMOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Barcelona are looking to buy a right back to cover for Dani Alves (Muniesa cries too much) and the possible signings include Azpilicueta (Osasuna ), Ansaldi (Rubin), Eboue (Arsenal ), or Rafinha (Schalke).
*Walter Pandiani is considering a move back to Espanyol after the Uruguayan forward spent the last three seasons in Osasuna.
*Rafa Benitez offering Albert Riera to Valencia in part of a swap deal for Serbian striker Nikola Zigic.
*Daniele De Rossi is one of the primary objectives for Jose Mourinho's new project (which has not officially begun) in Real Madrid. Roma's financial difficulties may force them into selling some of their players this summer.
*Juventus interested in taking Karim Benzema on loan.
*Chelsea ready to offer 45m euro for Kaka who is one of Ancelotti's primary targets for the off season.

Muniesa and Ansaldi are LB's
What is Valencia doing with more wingers?.
I can actually see De Rossi leaving Roma this season, Just to help the club's financial situation. which means No Javi .
Kaka is a Jose type player, Good a making late runs in the box and scoring, but whose overall game is shit.
Where would Kaka fit in at chelsea, he and lamps plays the same position and lamps is better than him.

The bit about Ansaldi is from SPORT. Proves their journalistic credibility.
If Riera comes maybe Mata moves to play more centrally behind the centre forward?
Also - it's Jose remember? Probably we'll need De Rossi AND Javi Martinez in order to properly park the bus.

He is their only natural candidate to replace Silva there, maybe Dominguez could play there eventually too. But after Silva, Mata is their next player who can bring a big cash for them, so you never know.Jaime wrote:The bit about Ansaldi is from SPORT. Proves their journalistic credibility.

I don't know how much Valencia can get for Zigic, so maybe swapping him for Riera would make sense.

I think they really want to keep Mata because he is on relatively low wages. They need to bring in cash from transfer fees but lowering the wage bill is just as important which is why they want to get rid of Marchena, Del Horno, Zigic, Miguel, etc.

RUMOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Liverpool want Giuseppe Rossi and Villarreal are interested in selling as they won't be signing players unless they receive money from transfer fees to fund them. Diego Lopez could also be sold to fund new signings this summer.
*Alberto Botia is close to making a permanent move to Sporting. There is an agreement in place between the two clubs and now Sporting just need to work out the contract with Botia, most likely a 4 year deal.
*Nicolas Pareja is being courted by both Atletico and Sevilla.
*AC Milan are ready to bid for out of favour Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Big Nose, however, does not want to move to England because it rains too much.
*Chelsea are offering €32m euro for Karim Benzema although Manchester United, Inter, and Juventus are all interested in the French striker as well.
*To replace Benzema, Mourinho has asked for Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko but Wolfsburg are asking for €40m.
*Rosella Sensi has said that Daniele De Rossi will not be leaving Roma in spite of the rumours linking him with Real Madrid.
*Real Madrid are negotiating for Benfica winger Fabio Coentrao at the request of Jose Mourinho. Meanwhile Di Maria is thought to be a done deal.
*Blackburn Rovers want to sign Guti.
*Getafe are joining the race to sign West Brom midfielder Borja Valero.

Sky Sports News sources understand that Birmingham City have agreed a fee in the region of £6million with Valencia for striker Nikola Zigic.
The giant Serbia international has been linked with City for several months, while Stoke, Blackburn and Sunderland were also said to be considering an offer.
Having cashed in on new Barcelona striker David Villa, Valencia are keen to raise further funds amid crippling debts and Birmingham will therefore hope to take advantage.
The Spaniards are also reported to be eager to cut Zigic from their wage bill due to a salary which is understood to be in the region of £60,000-a-week.
His representatives were previously thought to favour a loan move to England on reduced pay, but Birmingham could be on the brink of a permanent deal.
Zigic, who stands at 6ft 7in, would add a different dimension to Birmingham's attack as manager Alex McLeish plans for a push towards the European places in the new season.
The 29-year-old is currently preparing for this summer's World Cup with Serbia as they get ready for facing Germany, Australia and Ghana in Group D.

Shocker this. Really thought they would move for Manzano. QSF has been officially renewed his contract with Atleti as well and if Manzano is not continuing in Mallorca - there really isn't a lot of openings for him now. At least in la liga. Probably go to West Ham.
