Macheda catching the ball and running into the net isn't exactly legal.

Would you say that Chelsea had an advantage by not having to play in midweek?

I'd say they have an advantage when the ref wont give pens and the linesman gives offside goals, when 3 of our team were playing in this fixture in 1996 and when the striker fucks up 4 good chances

If the referee had any competence, he would certainly have given a penalty for Neville's American football tackle on Malouda in the 1st half. But as usual, the referee bottles penalty decisions in big matches.

How good is Malouda at the moment? makes my blood boil that we missed out on him a few seasons back.

Few minutes before clear pen on Park. At 1-1 who knows what happens. Ditto the goal....i mean getting a leveller a bit after doesn't help me really it's a load of bullshit. But it makes it interesting. Luckily for Chelsea Ballack doesnt start no more and Cole does. But Mikel is still there so i hold out hope.

The same Mikel who stopped Fletcher (and to a lesser extent Scholes) from playing in and around our penalty area today. You should have had a pen, we should have had a pen. We scored an illegal goal, you scored an illegal goal. It evens itself out.

Your problem today imo was that, apart from your goal, you had 1 shot on target in the match (Berbatov's tame half-volley that bounced up for Cech).

I can't believe we've gone for such a defensive line up against Wolves at home.

I understand not playing Rosicky and Nasri at the same time coz they are the Cesc replacements we've got in the squad, start both of them and you risk losing them to injury. I still would have gone for Nasri though as he's less likely to get injured before Barca, but i can live with the decision to start Rosicky instead. However i just can't understand why we are playing Sagna and Eboue at the same time; Eboue at RB is made for a games like this, Sagna on the other hand......

Baffling, truly baffling, Wolves are going to be very defensive and we've lost our 2 most creative players, what do we do? Pack the team with defensive players Doh We are going to go struggle for creativity big time in this game. Lets hope we score early to help open things up otherwise we are in for a long afternoon.

I was expecting that form from him when he joined but was suprised it didn't happen.

I'm also very suprised that its happening now.

Always a great end-product winger at Lyon.

Rolling Eyes He didn't do anything. They did what they usually do although Scholes gave it away A LOT. Whenever someone ran at Chelsea Mikel was nowhere to be seen. We were shite...but a pen at 1-1 it's a different game like i say IMO it maybe perceieved to even itself out but we were never level. Anyway i hope it teaches Fergie to never leave Nani out again. And start Macheda ahead of Berbatov at least those two fucking try.

Well he must have done something right because your threat through the middle was non-existent. All of the danger came from crosses out wide: mostly from Neville and Evra. He was also very composed on the ball, especially in the first half when you struggled to get it back.

Lerd you can't say "If we'd got our penalty you wouldn't have got your penalty shout" because you can't hypothetically predict the outcome on a match based on events that didn't happen. It would be like saying that if Anelka had gone to the back post when Ferreira burst through instead of narrowing the space he would have had an easy tap in, 0-2 probably game over early in the second half. Truth is, both teams had stonewall penalties turned down. Ale
