Robert F'gerald Earle MBE wrote:Id certainly prefer to see jinky in the squad than swp. He clearly has a good footballing brain to go with the natural ability. Always worth having that unknown factor on the bench- opposition sides will not know much about him, and having a left footer who can play on the right is very useful. Saints- as much as id love to agree about the modric challenge on campbell, there was contact and luka got nowhere near the ball. Campbell made the most of it, but it was clear cut and a very silly attempt to make in the box. We got everything we deserved. Thats What happens when we play a central defender schooled in the newcastle united art of how to get relegated, playing without dawson or king or woody to hold his hand.

This isn't meant as a criticism, but what happened to your punctuation? It used to be pretty good...did you just decide, Ronaldinho-style, that you can't be bothered with it all?

Milner's a given. I think Walcott's also a given to be honest. Capello clearly rates him from what he did in qualifying & he has started to show form again since he came under heavy criticism.

Don't say that. I'm still in denial.

It appears to me that young players just fall apart at Spurs. Where is Naughton? Where is Bostock? Where is Tarbaat? Where is dos Santos? Where is Danny Rose? They've all been ruined.

Sadly i must type through my phone on days like these when the Missus has banned me from the laptop. There is an argument to suggest why the hell would one want to loiter on this board when given the opportunity to use phone for more productive use like calling loved ones or downloading porn. One would have a point. But alas, football is a funny old game. And more addictive than crack

I never found a comfortable way to access the forum on a mobile, is there an easy way?

I hope you have a QWERTY keyboard TWERP, typing rants on a numeric keypad would drive me crazier.

Strictly predictive text numeric for me old bean. An addict will plunge to immeasurable depths in order to get their fix.in no way shape or form is accessing this forum on a mobile anything other than a total ball ache as far as i can tell. Not sure why i bother, but then not sure why i bother shelling out hundreds of pounds a year supporting spurs. An alternative would be beating the wife, which although morally dubious would be much cheaper and so long as jabs kept to the torso region, not even traceable publically

With no senior LB available in the Europa League, I reckon Agger is being saved for the Benfica game to play LB.

Mascherano has played an awful lot of games in fairness and probably needs a break. In saying that I don't get if that is the case why he wasn't rested in one of our last 2 homes games.

As Glenn said, rather have Lucas as the destroyer than a playmaker role.

Not at all, Benitez is just completly delusional. He loves Lucas and believes he is a good DMF. Mascherano should be playing every game, if he was injured ( which he isn't ) You wouldn't put him on the bench. Torres was different, because we had to risk him in hope for goals. Masch is a DMF.

Mascherano's a violent shit who's on 8 yellows, 2 reds...I think 10 yellows gets you a couple games, and they rack up the suspension if you get several reds. Probably trying to avoid him getting banned for the rest of the season (although as this is one of your hardest fixtures on paper, it's a bit weird not to use him)

TBF Lulu, I'm not fussed about Lucas. I'am sick to death of hearing about him and people constantly insulting him, hell even players who have done so much for the club are getting insulted constantly.

Too many people expect Mascherano to play every game and it's not realistic.

I want Gerrard, not to his favorite act this season, disappearing.

Gerrard, Torres and Yossi play anywhere near their ability I'm confident we'll come away with the win.
