Milner's a given. I think Walcott's also a given to be honest. Capello clearly rates him from what he did in qualifying & he has started to show form again since he came under heavy criticism.

This isn't meant as a criticism, but what happened to your punctuation? It used to be pretty good...did you just decide, Ronaldinho-style, that you can't be bothered with it all?

he might have a bit of a knock and not be fit enough to start

Mascherano has played an awful lot of games in fairness and probably needs a break. In saying that I don't get if that is the case why he wasn't rested in one of our last 2 homes games.

As Glenn said, rather have Lucas as the destroyer than a playmaker role.

much prefer Lucas in the Mascherano role than the Alonso role

a much more attacking line up than I was expecting

Lucas has proven to be consistantly poor in a deep role. He looked good when he played in the hole vs Portsmouth. If we're going to play a destroyer it has to be Masch every time.
