same old Mourinho
Whats Mourinho got to do with the pitch at Giuseppe Meazza?? Its been poor since 1990... go blame the world cup!
Seriously, you barca fans whine so much!! Bus ride, pitch poor... you are supposed to be the best team in europe, stop making excuses before every game!!
Calm down, I was obviously joking
I know well about the pitch problems at the stadium, you've told us about it many times

Please do get him in that Spain team
Not sure what was wrong with that...he pushed it away to the side, it was just Alves that went AWOL and didn't cover the Inter man on the right from having a follow up shot.

That's a flawed argument. Anyone who knows Barça's system knows the individual defenders are obviously going to look shit when exposed by the midfield, because the back 4 plays so high up the pitch.

Another point I just realised is Puyol will be out of the 2nd leg. So it's the even slower GMilito up against the pacy counter attacks of his brother and Etoo and Sneijder.
If I was Mourinho, I'd perhaps even start Balotelli.

It was Pep changing to his 4-2-3-1 system, with Maxwell-Xavi-Pedro as the midfield trio and Messi as a floating striker, but it was too late. Inter were in control by then.
Later Pep also tried the Mourinho/Allardyce tactic of sending the big CB up front, but although Pique created some danger he just couldn't get the goal we needed.

IMO it wasn't fatigue, it was tactical. In such games your adrenalin can overcome any tiredness. In the last few mins Inter had to just make sure not to give Barça a cheap momentum-creating 2nd goal. So they sat deep and put as many men behind the ball as possible.

Yeah I remember reading earlier today that Barça have only won 5 of 10 games in the CL this year (before tonight). Not good enough. It's obvious that Barça this year aren't as good as last year, I think Jaime mentioned this earlier today and I had spoken about it earlier too. I'm surprised some journalists keep repeating the opposite.

The two teams' priorities for the rest of the season are also vastly different now. Barça have to focus on the league because the gap is now 1 point, so they have more to lose there. Inter must win in Europe because Serie A is now a "nothing to lose" situation (they've already thrown it away and have to hope for Roma to fail) so they'll be more motivated. Of course, they could also crumble under the pressure. Will be interesting to see if Mourinho rests anyone this weekend or not. Pep certainly can since Barça are at home to Xerez

And yes, I can't deny after tonight that Messi still has it all to prove to Pierre
