As Glenn says, Motta had already been booked: I don't think the straight red card he received was at all warranted; the commentators suggested all hand-offs warrant bookings, which I do not agree with; but because Motta's hand was high, I think a yellow card would have been understandable and relatively uncontroversial, and that would have still resulted in Motta leaving the pitch, and in the anger towards Busquets for play-acting. The referee made the decision controversial by showing a straight red card, but with a yellow card I think we would be seeing largely the same game.

I also thought Chivu looked to take Messi first and foremost and deserved booking for his challenge.

That said, I don't think Inter got lucky in the first leg, and I do want them to progress tonight.

As for Motta's red card: I dont know id someone else saw it or not, but for a moment on the screen it appeared 2 yellows cards for him and then a red one.
Never was a straight red, but a yellow it was, and if that's the case then i dont know why some people are complaining.
About the game, if Inter remains unbeaten or go through is totally deserved because is our weakness if we do not score 2 or more goals, regardless how Inter plays.
I love Inter, but i hate Mourinho, so is a win-lose situation for me at least if Inter wins.
