That's very otto-esque from you otto, but still wrong. Bayern's squad is at least twice as expensive as ours, they are Deutscher Meister and will face Inter in the CL final next week. Bayern have been the best German team this season, there is no arguing, and hence are clear favourites.

Still, I think that we can beat them.

To be absolutely fair, i just hope nobody gets injured. For a CL win i would take an exit in the first round of the next three DFB Cup tournaments without thinking twice.

Werder is also the team I could lose to without feeling bad.

I see where this question come from, nordic or bavarian beers...

I don't drink much beer, more into cocktails, wodka, hard liquor actually. We have some nice Brauhäuser in Karlsruhe though, with their own beers. VOGEL-beer is good or Tannenzäpfle.

To be fair, Bayern under Van Gaal are very attacking minded also, they even managed to outscore us in the league after God knows how many seasons. In all competitions, we still have scored the most (119 vs. 112 goals), but still, it hopefully is going to be a goal fest - two attacking sides going for it, football like it should be. I have a feeling that Schaaf may surprise Van Gaal tactically though.

It'll be interesting to see if Marin is benched once again. Actually, I think that he should start. We need to put pressure on Bayern's wings and keep them busy there, so their main weapon is less effective, while our own main weakness (fullbacks) less decisive.

Really? I can't access it over here and the website says it is only available in Germany. Maybe they aren't very stringent in blocking IP addresses (only ones which clearly aren't in or near Germany). Good early effort from Robben, decent save from Wiese.
