Kalou is a fool for putting his hands in the air. Otherwise, this picture disproves everything you've tried to argue.
The fact that Samuel is kneeling on all fours with Kalou's leg caught under him shows contact has been made, and it's from behind. And that Samuel never caught up with him. And it's a foul. And should have been a penalty.
In this moment, Samuel almost cost Inter their entire campaign.
They should burn him at the stake and be done with it
Congrats Inter - who honestly cares what we think, they are Champions. Even though their centreback is a big, slow, dirty c*nt

He's also a fool for diving and having such a shit haircut.

Kalou played for it. And the contact was not enough for him to go down. Hence it's a 100% dive. The only mistake by the ref is that he didn't book him.

That might be so in trwpland. In real life he went the whole match without committing a foul and did a good job (along with Lucio) of shutting down Drogba.

That's not a very nice thing to say about Lucio. What did he ever do to you?

I guess it completely depends on who is our next coach... if we get a quality experienced coach, we should be fine and among the favourites for next year... if we get an un-experienced friend of Moratti, we might crash.
With Mancio, we finally got a winning mentality.... with Mou, we ve overcome the mental block of europe... the next coach has it easy... he surely will be given a budget to revitalise the squad, which IMO is needed to keep things fresh and young. 3-4 decent players in, 3-4 old/useless players out, and a top coach - I think we will be among the top 4-5 favourites to win the CL next season...

So we've gone from "Samuel didn't touch him" to "The contact was not enough". Just admit that you're wrong bobo and that Samuel very nearly cost Inter their CL campaign in one reckless, clumsy moment and I'm sure everyone will leave you alone.

But if there's contact and he doesn't touch the ball, surely it's a foul?

Ah ok my mistake. For all these years I've been under the impression that if you make contact with another player and don't get any part of the ball then it's a foul. I guess there isn't really much difference between football and American football.

For once I'm with Bobo. Not every contact with the man without contact on the ball is a foul.
Just as if you get the ball that doesn't automatically make it a fair challenge.
Just as if you touch another player with your hand when jumping, it isn't always a foul. Just as if you touch the ball with your hand it isn't always a handball.
And given Eduardo's shameless, shocking dive (the highlight of his season) I don't think Arsenal fans should be pushing this issue too far.

Its a few idiotic commentators/tv pundits who have been "making those rules"... Its kinda amusing sometimes... like recently in a game when the ref gave a foul for a very clear dangerous play, the commentators were screaming "but he got the ball first"!!

I agree with what saints said but Samuel clearly fouled Kalou to anyone not on a wind up or biased.

I never denied that foul, it could ve been a penalty, but you can understand why the ref did not give it..... when I saw it live, it looked like a clear dive... only when the slow motion replays show contact, you realise that it was also a foul. Kalou's exaggerated dive made it very difficult for the ref to give that one....

To me, it was the classic 'should probably be a penalty, but he made such a meal of it that you can't blame the ref for not giving it'.

So it was a penalty.....ok glad we got that cleared up. I thought Blue and Bobo were going to go on forever with their nonsense.
