    Japan look decent going forward, creating some half chances. Makes their first half defensive tactics even more infuriating.

    This is far more depressing than England's dismal performances; I really thought Van Persie would have a good World Cup, but so far he looks completely out of sorts. I can't recall seeing his first touch and passing as loose as it has been in the first two games. I just hope something 'clicks' for him and he can playing like he did in the warm up games.
