Good win for Chile but perhaps not good enough. +2 from their two wins is as bad as you can get GD-wise. Depends on Spain & Honduras now..obviously both know they must win tonight. Maybe Puro's prediction will come true and Honduras will oust Spain..

I think Swiss can now say for certain that they will go through with a 2-goal win in the final game.

It was an awesome decision.... I thought penalty in real time, but in replays it was so clearly a dive...

Yes, although 2-1 or higher win with 1 goal difference can be enough too.

I think Spain will do a number on Chile and Honduras, so as long as the Swiss beat Honduras they should be through.

I think the first week was great but we've had a run now of games where the ref has had big attention. Particularly Germany-Serbia, Brazil-IC and today. Is a little worrying that the dodgy decisions seem to be increasing as the games increase in importance..

It wasnt an atrocious decision today though. And Klose's was understandable even if very harsh.

Only Kaka's is ridiculous, and there at least, it didnteffect the result or his tournament.

The ref was very good. All them yellows were spot on. He EVEN spotted the dive by the Chilean at the end when 99% of refs would've called the PK. I thought it was a PK. Shocked

If I were Bielsa, I'm really miffed for the many sitters missed by the team. It nearly cost him when Derdiyok missed also a sitter.

Sure, their main man for goals Suazo is not fit, but Paredes is a paquete. If Chile had the Peruvian strikeforce of Pizarro, Farfán, Guerrero, Fernández, Aguirre, Fano...they could be scoring for fun FFS!

I disagree they were all terrible decisions. Red cards in the first half should surely only be for something clear. Kaka's was a joke. What about the Mali ref in the USA game....that was appauling also.

    And Australia.

Well i think many decisions where understandable, its just the difference among the refs, some throwing cards like mad others dont warn players even for harder things.
Overall they should hold back with the cards, its destroying games where there is no need for handing out warnings. Esp when it comes to red cards.

Honduras WILL BE "pussy football"-Ottmar Hitzfeld-coached-Swiss most difficult match. Sure, their barnacle qualities are proven, but let's see how they are when they leave their shell.

I got a great view of how they defend today when they come out, and they are appalling. Chile missed FIVE sitters that Honduras will not miss.

I can also easily see Wilson Palacios being booked today and being not available for a match against Switzerland, which will really boost Switzerland chances.
Swiss has a few talented attacking players, Hitzfeld will find a way to make them work in totally opposite manner to first 2 games.

Yes they had enough chances to win both their games by about 3 goals, could hurt them in the end with 3 teams likely to finish on 6 points.

    Americans view on it.

To be honest it's deffo the Australian view also. New Zealand i guess have a right to complain as well forgot about that match. There's at least 8 now that have had terrible decisions.
