Villa scores a great goal, one minute after Casillas did a really good job of coming out for a ball over the top.

    Americans view on it.

To be honest it's deffo the Australian view also. New Zealand i guess have a right to complain as well forgot about that match. There's at least 8 now that have had terrible decisions.

I read that article earlier today and I don't agree at all. We all know what happens when angry fans get any kind of exposure to a ref, the subsequent behaviour is downright outrageous. You just have to think back to the alleged death threats for Frisk allegedly from Chelsea fans. IMO until players, coaches, officials, and fans learn to respect the ref and realise the difficulty of their job, FIFA are correct in protecting them.

Also, if we want refs to improve, the first step is to make the players help out by stopping their ridiculous diving, simulating, shirt grabbing at setpieces, arguing, card waving, etc. etc. etc. etc.

Spain are playing well. Credit to Del Bosque, he has made one major correction to their play - Villa and Navas are sticking to the touchlines, making the pitch wide and spreading the play.

Plus Alonso is looking to spread it as quickly as he can. This is the biggest non contest out of all the games I've seen so far (didn't see Portugal, N Korea earlier). Puro got a little bit carried away it seems.

Because I & other mods can't be asked to tell grown adults, the majority of whom are older than me, what is appropriate.

The sad wankers should have the sense to know.

Come on TS get a grip. We're all adults thats the whole point. If we're going to have BBC guidelines then it kinda takes away the board freedom for this kind of thing. Plus with someone like axe preference cant be seperated. Glenn for example would not be being pulled up for making the exact same remarks. Let it go and move on.
    Ale

The problem with the likes of you, Glenn and Fey is that if the mods do take action against one of your numerous offensive (and I use that to cover the entire range of personal insults, nsfw content, racist comments, etc. etc.) posts, then you create a massive drama about it and go on and on and on and on until you get your way. Most certainly not "adult" behaviour.

I also know that half the racist stuff you've been posting recently is purely to get a reaction out of people, and that's just pathetic.
