I would say Tevez. Saw lot of the ball, but never made one decision right. Too selfish, would not pass one ball

Elano, I thought he was in the Brazil team for his great set-piece delivery, but they were pretty crap.

There are some big star players that don't translate their capibilities to the national side. I prefer to watch Portugal without Cristiano Ronaldo, when he plays the entire team relies on him which is a shame considering the number of talented players that play for the side. He is overly dominating, and hinders team performance when he's not around. For us that would be Sneijder, give him his credit he finds the back of the net, he does his fair share of assisting as well, but over dominating and counter-productive fort he whole team. He should be taken off early during Japan, just to see.

And Cardozo, I know he has come off an injury, but he always seems to be worthless for the national side IMO.

borocooper wrote:Pantelić was pretty poor as well..saying that, I dunno if he wasnt meant to be good.

    He wasnt good though.

No that's just Pantelic. He has his moments where he can assist, and get things done but those moments are always overshadowed by his wastefulness and poor finishing. This past season for us anyway. Not a big surprise, I saw him miss that big chance in the early moments of the game, to think the game could have been different if he would have capitalized at some point in the first half. Has got to be Ribery. A winger that can't cross and a playmaker that doesn't create. He wasn't even great at the last WC where the hype began. Gonna have to do a lot to prove people wrong. He could start by not taking freekicks. Worse than Lampard or Xavi.

    Question
I haven't exactly been hyping this season Lrd. He has played quite poorly when I have seen him this season which is why I have been against Real Madrid buying him since winter or so. I have made that quite clear so don't know why you would bother on that. However you are welcome to get on my back if Cassano chokes when Sampdoria plays Cl next season. Smile

That has always pissed me off - I knew the people saying that hadn't seen him play for Marseille.

At Marseille he was one of the most watchable players in Europe - hard to believe now No
