I don't think you can count Di Maria yet...most of Argentina's play came from the right or through the middle. It's not that he was poor, just that he didn't get involved by his teammates. Also, Nigeria's midfield was a bit lopsided so they tended to have more of their players drifting to their right flank, which reduced the space available to Di Maria.

One name I'd put here is Higuain. Not for his missed chances (otherwise we could put Messi here too), but I thought his overall play in attack was unimpressive, esp. compared to Milito who looked very sharp and combined better with Messi when he came on. I wouldn't be surprised if Maradona swapped them for the next game.

    Talk about knee jerk!

    Come on Australia were shite!

USA are ranked 14th in the world and BEAT Spain last summer in a competitive game.

You're likely to face them in the last 16 - it'll be interesting to see how you compare against them.

we wont be that impressive against every side, we know that

i compare this to lyon vs bayern, inter was a different league, it will not be that easy against a top team

but we can create, and that fears enemys, so they will not much attack us

should we really fear usa, we punish them with a 2 goal difference next round, but i really hope we get england Very Happy

I don't really want to jinx us deisler, but I expect us to win the group regardless of the result of the game against the US. We drew, yes, but we were the better team on the night and we'll have barry coming back who'll create a better balance to the midfield. I expect us to have better results against Algeria and Slovenia that the US do.

I think Ghana-Germany should be a great game mind. Their work-rate is highly impressive and it'll be more of a challenge to your stlye of football than Australia posed you last night. I expect Ghana to come 2nd in your group.

Higuain and Rooney are the two who i have been disappointed in so far. They both came into the competition with reputations as being in the top bracket of international strikers, but both did nothing in their opening game. Its only early days yet so cannot make any real judgements yet.

Unfair on Milner, it was widely recognised he was ill before and during the game - this was Capello's error playing him instead of Joe Cole.

Rooney I definitely agree with, very disappointed by his performance. Looked tired and off the pace.

The entire French team deserve a mention. Talented individuals, but terrible performance
