Everything is keyed to succeed in there sports. If there is one thing our national side could learn from them is fight. Then again they lost the fight today.

Glenn. You going to The Game tomorrow?
No, I had a ticket for the Ghana game tonight but I gave it away.
It's too far away, I thought about it but I'm running out of money. South Africa is 10x the size of England so it's not as simple as jumping on a train from London to Manchester. Spain vs Portugal is my next match so I'm going to sleep in tomorrow and make use of the free (although heavily censored ) internet.

if I didn't have Spain-Portugal then I probably would have tried, but without a confirmed ticket a 1300 mile round trip is just stupid, particularly since it would mean missing Spain-Portugal. I have England's Quarter-final and Ghana's semi.

USA fans are pissed off because the Robbie Mustoes have polluted our football here in the USA with their "coaching".
There's a massive cry to look for South American coaches to teach our kids technique and possession, and get rid of the "English school of football once and for all". DAAAAAMMMMNN!
I thought we did alright, a step at a time, no need to panic and fire all them English coaches who "teach" throughout the country.

What sort of thick c**t nation would be giving a coaching job to Robbie Mustoe?
Bunch of fuckwits.
When you say "our" kids do you mean Peruvian or American? I keep forgetting which nation no longer in the World Cup it is you support.

Re: WC2010 Round of 16 - USA vs Ghana
Questions already whether to replace Bradley and go for a South American coach.
Fans are pissed off that Bradley made an example of Ricardo Clark. Clearly Bradley has English coaching influence by doing that shite. Bradley fucked up big time by making Clark a starter, and then fucked up even more with his Fat Sam school of football coaching move substituting the player, humiliating him in front of millions INSTEAD of holding HIMSELF accountable for having such a poor pregame set up.
Bradley sucks at pregame preparation, but his game adjusting is above average for a coach. His substitutions almost always worked.
I was shocked that Bradley played 4-4-2 against them Ghana's midfield when a 4-2-3-1 was a clear approach I thought. Bradley realized this AFTER the game began.

They should hire Kevin Keegan, although he looks like a total honky he eats alot of Mexican food and his back is covered in thick black hair. A clear sign of south American ancestry.

The consensus here is that Bradley "lost the game for us". I must agree with that thought as well. Terrible pregame preparation, horrible substitution at the 30th minute (extinguished a sub already, who would've thought we were gonna NEED fresh legs in extra time?)
I think the USA is more than ready to take the next step. All them English coaches who taught the game here all this time (they were just here because they spoke the language) are dead men walking since there's a huge cry for South American coaches. It's like they want to get rid of the English mentality from the American game.

It's good to know you've found a way to blame England for USA's cup exit

I do wonder why Puro doesn't become a football coach, if all the Angloshite are so useless you think he'd be able to walk into the job.

I didn't believe this at first, but checking through the US newspapers it would seem Puro is correct. Headlines like 'English fuckos to blame for US exit' and 'Peruvian masters sought to lead US to World Cup glory' are prevalent.
Mind you, George Vecsey in the NY Times obviously hasn't adhered to the party line by suggesting 'Americans Have No One to Blame but Themselves'. What is the world coming to when a supposedly professional journalist doesn't even have the awareness to realise that the English are to blame for everything in football.

in my defence I had to make a choice and I'm not alone in thinking England would top their group.
I chose the Argentina-Germany game for the same reason I chose the Spain-Portugal game, because it is 15 minutes drive + 15 minutes walk from my hotel. I do not accept your jinx-blame insinuation.
But for a freak goal England would have topped their group, but for a freak refereeing decision England would be playing Argentina. If you continue to taunt me in public I will call the police.
