Back from London and very happy with a point..which is clearly what we came for. Hart was outstanding and i thought after about 15 mins we were going to get beat but we held strong and in the second half kept and used the ball better although didnt create that many chances.
I was surprised to see SWP start but after playing for England in the week i think Mancio decided to rest Johnson with the option of bringing him on. I was surprised to see Ade on the bench and thought he should have come on earlier.
We were missing a few players yesterday and t will be good to get Balotelli in and hopefully Milner...whilst hopefully Kolorov and Boateng will both recover quickly.
Six - Richards started cos Boateng is injured, and talking of full backs I thought Kolarov did well up against Lennon and it was a shame he got injured.
Silva did well, he cant be fully judged off that game as he wasnt given any freedom in our system plus was constantly surrounded cos of the defensive system but i thought he did well and will be a great signing.
We have a terrible record at spurs and they are very good at home so its a great point, especially when Redknapp says it was a fantastic performance by Spurs and i thought we were far from our best so it was a good result....i bet not many teams got clean sheets at Spurs last season and wont this year either.
Liverpool up next and should be missing Cole now which is great news. It wont be easy after playing away in Romania but we are strong at home and with players back hopefully we can beat them.
