It's a fucking sick joke. Ref kept giving Stoke soft free kicks late on to maximise their chances in the only way they can score. And then the worst player on the pitch scores a fully undeserved winner in the shittest deflectiest way possible.
But I've long known there is no God, happiness or hope in this world so I won't let it get me down.

Fuller probably is too lazy for Pullis taste though. But he is really a decent player, has great combination of technique/pace/power; it's a mystery why he didn't have a better career.

Always liked Fuller too.
But I have always said.
There's Yakubu, then one step down you have Fuller, then a few steps down you have Stern John.

2207: I've just seen a replay of the "foul" which earned Stoke the winning goal by Stiliyan Petrov on Jermaine Pennant. Dodgy, at best, no wonder the Bulgaria international has reacted with consternation when Lee Probert awarded the free-kick. Petrov continued his protest after the game - and was rewarded with a yellow card.
Lee Prolapse is definitely off my Christmas card list. Think of all the sub-humans from Stoke he's made happy with his ineptitude. Disgusting

Luis's Premier League winners and losers
Winners
Arsenal and Chelsea
If the title race involves 4 or 5 teams then it was a massive weekend for these two London big boys. Chelsea don't mess about, it may not have been their greatest performance yet but it was never in doubt. Arsenal's squad looks set to cope with any injury problems they may face this season, Nasri, Walcott and RVP all provide attacking threat but Arsenal looked extremely dangerous still.
The art of the assist
Nani, Scholes, Fabregas, Agbonlahor. Just a few names of players that provided inch perfect assists this weekend. Scholes and Fabregas are doing their best to provide a mirror image of Xavi.
Everton
Still to win a game this season but I'll be kind to them. It was a ridiculous comeback, they looked well beaten but showed if you go until the very end (yes, end Moyes) you may just pull off the impossible.
Blackpool
7 points from 4 games. They have no fear - beware.
Tony Pulis
Despite the death of his mother he managed to witness his Stoke side come from a goal behind and get an important 3 points. Stoke have a good squad now, they're still a team defenders must hate to play against.
Pepe Reina
Without him Liverpool would be near or in the relegation zone.
Losers
The teams in the race for fourth
Oh dear. Does anyone want to put pressure on Arsenal, Chelsea and United this season?
City's negativity at home is unnaceptable. The players they have at their disposal means Mancini has no excuse about not being able to break down a dogged Rovers defence. If his bizzare decisions continue I can't see him lasting as City boss.
Spurs will struggle this season as Harry Houdini tries a tricky juggling act. The Champions League may be a poison chalice this season, especially with a tough group that will take a big Spurs effort to progress. The injury to Defoe is a blow and the defensive issues aren't helping either but Harry needs to decide what his best line up is quickly. The addition of VDV provides a different outlet but it may be suited to Europe rather than the league and when Spurs do eventually go out of Europe they may find themselves too far off the pace in the league.
Is Rafa Benitez still the manager of Liverpool? I thought he left. Oh wait, he must have done, Andy Gray isn't condemning us too much. No, we're organised now, not boring or negative. Roy Hodgson must be given time, there's no question about that but I was certain performances, if not results, would pick up after the shambles of last term. They haven't. If anything they might have declined. Liverpool look like a team that has just been thrown together like City or Madrid, the sad thing is the team that was fielded against Birmingham contained only 3 players that didn't play under Benitez. Hodgson said he was happy with a point, Reina said we might not make the top 4 again this season. Those who wanted Rafa out for an immediate turn around may just be regretting their naivity right now.
Villa are probably the worst off of the lot. The magerial situation is quite frankly barmy and ridiculous. Are the players answering to Macdonald or Houllier? Lerner has made a huge error IMO, it's a big mess that could dent any chance of Villa keeping up with their rivals this season.
Man United
Complacency has cost them twice now. Has the luck finally ran out? It's been a testing week for Ferguson as he had to defend his boy wonder but leaving him out of a tough game was the wrong deicision. A lot of players will mess up off the field at one time or another. Crouch and Terry got on with things. Rooney may have got overwhelming abuse at Goodison park on Saturday but doesn't he always? Wont he get abuse from the away end of Old Trafford on sunday filled with around seven thousand scousers? He could have made all the difference and put the game properly to bed.
Lee Cattermole
Probably the most stupid premier league player ever. Why does Bruce even bother playing him? He's a total liability.
West Ham
4 games played, 0 points. This could be the year we say goodbye to the Hammers.

It's not that confusing. MacDonald is still caretaker-manager until Houllier has sorted the thing with his current employers (probably until next week). Unlike a certain DISGRACE, Houllier is obviously not willing to just leave them completely in the lurch. That's reasonable.
While it's arguable that MacDonald's tactical naivete has more directly cost us points and place in Europe already, it's O'Neill who's messed up this season for us. Crazy to put blame on Lerner.
Barring Houllier getting the team to perform miracles, we're not going to be a contender for 4th this time out as we've got to get to January with a weakened squad and a new manager who's unable to make any changes in personnel. The inconsistent form so far is likely to continue and I think we'll end up 6th-10th.
-----
Everton should be included in the group of teams going for 4th too and they are the only ones who had a good weekend. While I thought they might win vs United, the way they got the draw should be a huge psychological boost and perhaps the starting point to finding some form. As no-one else has started particularly well, they can soon be back on terms with Villa, Spurs, City, Pool..
-----
Spurs have got to be a bit worried about dropping points already, given their CL duties haven't started. They really should've been looking at 10pts from the 4 fixtures they had. When you look at what's coming up with their post-CL fixtures, even with their IMMENSE squad, I think they may suffer. Lots of home games, but tough ones. That Everton one for example is vicious. Midday Saturday after playing at Inter on Wednesday (I'm looking forward to 'arry complaining about that one):
Wednesday, 29 September 2010
Tottenham v FC Twente, GpA, 19:45
Saturday, 2 October 2010
Tottenham v Aston Villa, 15:00
--
Wednesday, 20 October 2010
Inter Milan v Tottenham, GpA, 19:45
Saturday, 23 October 2010
Tottenham v Everton, 12:45
--
Tuesday, 2 November 2010
Tottenham v Inter Milan, GpA, 19:45
Saturday, 6 November 2010
Bolton v Tottenham, 12:45
--
Wednesday, 24 November 2010
Tottenham v Werder Bremen, GpA, 19:45
Sunday, 28 November 2010
Tottenham v Liverpool, 16:00
--
Tuesday, 7 December 2010
FC Twente v Tottenham, GpA, 19:45
Saturday, 11 December 2010
Tottenham v Chelsea, 15:00
And that's not considering the immediate Pre-CL fixtures, which are all away trips: WHam, Fulham, Utd, Arsenal and Brum, where they might have to be thinking of resting players for the CL. Could be a tough Autumn for them.

United conceding late goals away from home is down to complacency ?
Surely its down to having crap GK, CB, FB and DM options, no ?
Doesn't effect them at home when they dominate.

Cliche's and football go hand in hand, without them I think you'd find a lot of articles would just be dull and would appear like pub talk with your mates.
