Stupid goal conceded by Arsenal after Arshavin misses a couple of good chances. Koscielny's mistake, makes a shit header back and the resulting disorganisation sees Elmanders score easily.

Zamora is going to be out for a long time apparently, sounds like he had a horrific injury after a tackle by that hoofer Karl Henry.

Well here's a good opportunity to learn now. Right now his coach, who might have previously encouraged his aggressive play for its overall benefit to the team, may well be thinking of coaching him to tone it down whilst still being effective in his role.

Bale shoulda scored there. Decent save by Shitt Carson. WBA had been on top so far this half, but it was a great break by Spurs and now they looking like scoring..

As I suspected when TS was positing the team 'arry 'as picked, Spurs look a bit iffy from set pieces. Gallas not having a good debut. just been booked.

Cahill sent off, didn't see the tackle but Davies should have got a second yellow earlier. Bo;ton are arguing that Song should have conceded a foul before the Cahill red.

BTW Chamakh scored header from a Cesc cross earlier. 2-1 currently.

Arshavin has been so poor with his end product for some time but today in particular he's missing all his last passes and finishes .

Lots of schizophrenic teams so far this season: Blackpool, Wigan, Newcastle, Villa, Spurs. Could be a closer league than last time, other than top, where Chelsea look like they might walk it.

WBA playing some decent football here. Could sneak this one, though you could equally see Spurs catching them on the break.

True. But my thinking is more that none of their rivals really look like they'll have the consistency to challenge. Chelsea won't be so dominant when they play better teams, but I think they will get results and not drop as many points as Utd, City, Arsenal.. Main question for me is if their puny squad can cope.

Chelsea's test will not be any opposition, but rather their own squad - there's a lot of versatility but not much strength in depth. There is a big risk in the squad which is either perfectly balanced, or dangerously small - depending on how good the youngsters are.

Tamas should've just scored the winner. Would've been an absolute beaut too, lovely one-two with Odemwingie to cut through Spurs defence. WBA the better side today
