    True

They can't head the ball for shit and that is supposedly what Carragher is in the team for. The Greek on merit should be ahead of them both, but he could also turn out to be a liability. It has been a flaw since Hyypia left.

The most impressive aspect of Berbatov's 2nd goal was not the overhead kick but the control prior to that; most players would have been shocked if the ball comes to them in that manner after Rooney missing the header and the touch would have been 99% of the time a bad one. And you'd hear people say 'he miscontrolled it coz he was expecting Rooney to win the header'.

Man $hitty 1 up at HT. Rather a wet, disjointed game from the 10 mins or so I've watched. Neat finish by Tevez but lucky to get the chance. Probably enough to win it as Wigan ain't up to much.

Pierre Littbarski wrote:@ Luis - you still think United conceding these leads is complacency ? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I consider it complacent to build a defence around Nemaja Vidic given his form of the last 18 months, and complacent to expect VDS not to decline as he has, and complacent to buy only one midfielder who can tackle and watch him sit injured for 2 years.

In sum, I blame Fergle. Man Utd's defence has gone from being excellent two years ago to being midtable at best.

$hitty score a 2nd. Yaya with a relative tap-in after woeful defending. Wigan are getting so very relegated this season. Shite defence & not enough goals in the team.

The spirit of Lampard lives on, even when he isn't in the team. Drogba makes it 3-0 courtesy of a hefty deflection.

    4-0

This is far too easy for Chelsea, and they are far too ruthless and efficient in their forward play not to punish Blackpool. It could be much heavier than this already for the away side.

Funny that both of them started to become famous when they both played together for Guimcamp a while ago, their partnership was impressive at that time. They know each other very well.
