Schalke probably demanded that Magath win the CL. Magath mentioned that he had been saddled with Huntelaar, and with that he got sacked!

Laugh Great photos. Although Schumacher is being outdriven by NOT-SO-QUICK Nick in the same machinery. In other words, a Deisler-esque HUMILIATION.

The points you make about German "surprises":

In 1997 - Dortmund were undoubtedly favourites back then. United were still trying to find their feet in the CL.

1999 - Don't need to mention the United mentality in the face of Basler-led complacency (waving at the crowd and what not with 15 minutes to go)

    2002 - Leverkusen indeed sprung a surprise

2010 - Hinged on a sending off and a piece of magic by a DUTCHIE

United have been to 2 finals in the last 4 years. Say what you will about the c**ts, they're consistent. So that's why I'm backing them again. And also because you've predicted Schalke to win, which we all know is akin to having just given them the Kiss Of Death Ale

Yeah the major difference with all the abovementioned games is that they were against pretty much the top German team at the time. Schalke are in the bottom half of the BL dammit!

I would Keegan it and all the rest of it, but it would be quite something to pull off – the c**ts will be an entirely different proposition to a strangely limp Inter.

Never underestimate the extra $$$ that a BPL team brings to this Wembley CL "Final" (THE TRUE FINAL IS BARÇA-MADRID!). Schalke have the players to cause the 'upset' against the Mancs. The problem with the miners is that they as a team are in unfamiliar territory (I think only Raúl and Farfán have CL semi-final experience), and thus the Mancs have a huge experience edge.

It's all down to how Farfán destroys Nani, Giggs, and Evra on that side. Oh La Foquita will get the attention YOU BET! Schalke must use Farfán as a decoy and unleash Jurado to obliterate either O'Shea or Fabio. I like the big match-up problems that Farfán will cause slurAlex's Mancs. Farfán is hungry for glory, and he shall destroy the pussy-football Mancs.

    Schalke have NOTHING to lose

every game now is a BONUS

hopefully, ManU , like all of the Englanders will

    UNDER

    estimate

van der Sar already said that they knew nothing about Schalke but would now study the VIDEOS

with some luck, SAF+players will CONCLUDE

that Schalke only progressed because of Inter's shoddy defense

the second ManU consider this game to be a slam-dunk

    they are DOOMED

    also

whoever scores the FIRST goal will lead from the front like at a F1 race in Monaco

the key Schalke player here is RAUL

    followed by Edu and Farfan

I have a hunch Schalke will spring one hell-of-a- surprise

From that list I hope Schalke can win it, I mean Real, Barca and Man utd will be here within 365 days so..besides their fans really deserve it. They have the best fans in Germany me thinks. Together with Dortmund, who will look so sad with their BL title if they win the CL. It's 1997 all over again! Besides clubs named after a neighbourhood are always CLASS!

On paper Real-Man Utd will be the best final, always great games between these two. Barca-Man utd will be a bit one sided again me thinks.
