Barca's football was stopped by their own high line and high pressure, but Messi can't be stopped.

What a ridiculous timing for a football match, well it's not that the Spanish have to work in the morning Anyway tuned in at the right time, good goal messi and a nice fight.

Btw, Fabregas won the same amount of silverware within 48 hours at Barca as 6 years at Arsenal

Collectively, the Madrid defense has been a shambles tonight.

If you want to defeat this Barca and not rely on flukes, you need to attack and defend as a team.

When Ronaldo plays, you don't play as a team. It's too unbalanced and even when he has the ball he generally makes awful decisions.

I know a lot of people I pointing out our shambolic defending, fair enough, but Barca's wasn't too clever either it's just that we couldn't take advantage. A lot of out openings came from some shitty Barca defending.

I agree actually.

Another thing that surprised me was how annoyed Messi seemed at times. Usually, he is one of those players who never lose their calm, but Marcelo in particular seems to have gotten under his skin tonight.

WWE have nothing on Barca vs Real Madrid. Congrats boy and keep the trophies coming. Pique is half a man without Puyol.

Yeah I thought we did a much better job of disrupting them and starting our attacks but we let ourselves down in the final 3rd.

Anyway disappointed we lost obviously but to be honest in general I'm happy with what I've seen from us. Clearly some progress has been made.

Complete lack of respect shown by Madrid at the end - Marcelo was like a child trying to break the leg of Cesc possibly because he's the new boy. Then Mourinho tries to make the situation even worse by doing that and then hiding like a coward.

I can understand why marcelo was pissed off though, no one should have to suffer racist chanting these days, he should have just walked off the pitch.

That probably won't even be necessary if things continue like this. Spain may implode over this fierce rivalry that only seems to get worse. It remains to be seen how long Del Bosque can keep up the truce he inherited from Aragones that won Spain all their silver ware.

Don't know about others, but I'm embarrassed about the club, about mourinho, about pepe. Marcelo too, but tonight he was at receiving end of racism as Alves/abidal were the other weekend. He just went made.
