    It will be interesting to see how Jose handles Di Maria now. If he was a Spanish player he would never play again (e.g. Pedro Leon) but I suspect since Di Maria is part of the Mendes clan he will be back in the XI after the suspension.

    Yeah must be, because he started the last game. The other consideration is the midweek CL game, but surely a match against Bate Borisov is when you play Mascherano and Busquets, not Atletico.

    Having said that, Manzano should have instructed his players on the key tactic when in the defense-->attack transition against Barcelona: don't pass it around, just hit it to the (preferably wide) forwards asap.

    Messi twists his right analog stick to slalom towards goal and make it 3-0. Atletico defenders not interested in getting near him or the ball, just sticking out a leg tentatively, like we used to do in school yard games as 6 year olds.
