lol! You know they all received the memo. EVEN the Spanish language commentators say that at least three times per game. lol!

It's obvious they got a memo about hyping Rooney. They too cream their pants when Rooney passes the ball. lol!

Just 5 minutes ago, the Sky commentator said "poor pass from Rooney".

Mediocre c**ts like him will waste no opportunity to point the finger at De Gea so that they can feel better about themselves. All his life being belittled by the English, all his life growing up feeling as second class citizen, can't wait when a "Johnny Foreigner" fucks up. lol!

Get rid of the ball c**t!!! (what the fuck is that imbecile's name?! scratch

What on earth is this all about Laugh

You're right though - Fergie fucked up massively selling Pique and thinking Evans would be the better prospect. Nothing to do with nationality though, Fergie has sold off countless English/British youth players in favour for (failed) "foreign" signings (Djemba Djemba, Kleberson, Bellion etc).

If we're being serious: you appear to judge everything based on all these fractious national divisions, if anyone is the racist xenophobe here, it's you Ale

A.Young is Mr.Assist (that's gotta go down as OG, surely). Good for England if him, Rooney, Cleveley, Welbeck start playing together regularly.

He will come good I reckon. Clearly has the natural talent. Just takes getting used to the positional differences he will face in this league with more crosses, set pieces and defence playing deeper than he's probably used to

United started with 6 English players, and that doesn't include Jones who will surely become a regular soon either at CB or defensive midfielder.

Clearly very good for the national team if this continues

Be suprised if he doesn't. That said, if he wants to be error prone for a season or so, it's better for all of us.

Is rather good the amount of young english players in this Man utd team who could reasonably be part of the first team for the next 5-10 years. Been very impressed with Cleverly, hopefully in 6 months or so, him and Wilshire can form the basis of England's midfield.

Welcome to the EPL and the measure of true champions: Stoke City away

BBC wrote:Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas attacks Stoke's style

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has attacked Stoke for an overly physical style after a 0-0 draw with the Potters in his first Premier League game.

Two players were booked on either side, but Villas-Boas was aggrieved at the hosts' tactics in the penalty area.

"The amount of pushing and grabbing in the box is out of this world," he said.

"I want to draw the referees' attention to these kind of details as they say they are going to be aware of them. Maybe they need extra help."

Villas-Boas pronounced himself reasonably pleased with a point at a "one of the most difficult places to visit in the Premier League", noting Stoke's impressive home record in the top flight but also an approach that he described as "a very, very particular way to play".

The new Chelsea manager is not the first Premier League boss to criticise Stoke's style.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was incensed after losing midfielder Aaron Ramsey to a broken leg following a tackle by Stoke's Ryan Shawcross in February 2010, and last season he said he feared football was becoming like "rugby" after a Stoke-Tottenham game.

Stoke finished 18th in the Premier League's Fair Play league in 2010/11, but they also have their defenders among top-flight managers.

Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson remarked in January that: "People have criticised their physical style of play but they stick to what they do best."

Villa Boas with unusual comments seeing as he used to be Mourinho's understudy didn't he at Chelsea? He must have known what Stoke can be like but having said that I thought Chelsea gave as good as they got in that respect, Cech and Terry were man-handling Shawcross at one stage.

Stoke were brilliant today and fully deserved that point. Villa-Boas is yet to make any transfer which is even more strange than these comments because the Chelsea side needs 2 midfielders badly.

Mourinho (and his team) were sacked in September 2007. Stoke got promoted in summer 2008.

That said, I agree that Villas-Boas should have been prepared. I think he did, but the reality probably shocked him as it was worse than he expected. As he mentioned in his interview, it's not just Stoke's style of play when they have the ball, but the way they slide and push and shove all over the pitch even when they don't have it.

United win the league whether they play good football or not - it's not a concern of mine this season. I'm actually happy Arsenal failed to take advantage of our slip up and Spurs start away to...this wonderfully attacking side so I cant see your boys getting a win, maybe not even a draw. It's all about keeping up with or bettering your realistic rivals this season and so far so good Ale

Arsenal are shit this season Lulu, but i know who had the better result yesterday :chins:

You may have had the better result but you lost another player now for 3 games and are now solely relying on RVP to score you goals.
