In fairness, despite the repetitive tourette's nature of his posts, this place wouldn't feel right without him and his occasional anti-English ramblings. Stirs up the wasps nest, he knows what he is doing. I don't believe he really believes half the stuff he posts, it's clearly for a reaction

Be suprised if he doesn't. That said, if he wants to be error prone for a season or so, it's better for all of us.

Is rather good the amount of young english players in this Man utd team who could reasonably be part of the first team for the next 5-10 years. Been very impressed with Cleverly, hopefully in 6 months or so, him and Wilshire can form the basis of England's midfield.

Stoke were brilliant today and fully deserved that point. Villa-Boas is yet to make any transfer which is even more strange than these comments because the Chelsea side needs 2 midfielders badly.

United win the league whether they play good football or not - it's not a concern of mine this season. I'm actually happy Arsenal failed to take advantage of our slip up and Spurs start away to...this wonderfully attacking side so I cant see your boys getting a win, maybe not even a draw. It's all about keeping up with or bettering your realistic rivals this season and so far so good

Mourinho (and his team) were sacked in September 2007. Stoke got promoted in summer 2008.

That said, I agree that Villas-Boas should have been prepared. I think he did, but the reality probably shocked him as it was worse than he expected. As he mentioned in his interview, it's not just Stoke's style of play when they have the ball, but the way they slide and push and shove all over the pitch even when they don't have it.
