just on some info on the midfield general. he had 29 assist in 2009, thats right 29 for a CM.
he scored 14 goals last season. remember he is a CM, thats more than a french many ever managed in a single season.
he also won everything that zidane has a club level times two.

Honestly I dont see any proofs here, only ignorance of Zz's game among little teenagers who come out only with assertive statements.

Zz's level of control had actually worked outside his comfort zone, Xavi works within the comfort zone.

Xavi plays with all-time best player in messi and a player on par with Zz has won double Zz's trophies? By your reductive logic, Zz's contribution towards trophies is more. Make your mind, if you have one.

Zz is main playmaker of his team. Not one among many, like Xavi.

if xavi is so awesome how come it took the development of tiki-takenaccio to get the best out of him? To me he seesm to be awesome in this system only, and I question his adaptability

You said "won more trophies". You didn't say it had to include international tournaments.

But if you want to be that specific, Pepe Reina has a WC and 1 (potentially 2) Euro winners medals despite having only played 90 minutes across the 3 tournaments. Team honours are a flawed way of judging players.

Sort of. Xavi had a good season in the first season when Ronaldinho arrived but after that he took a backseat when Deco arrived and declined quite a bit to the big low point in 07/08 when he seemed finished and Barcelona fans were right to want him out of the team. He was that poor by that time. Xavi's great period for me has been since Pep came to the club.
