I think firing the guy is really harsh.
Ljajic came across as a complete moron.
It was actually gratifying to see a coach take charge. Remember Zahovic during WC2002 I think? He cussed out the coach and said something along the lines of "you are shit, you were shit as a player, I could buy you and your family with all my money."
The coach's response was a tearful press conference.

Nah, he had to go. There is no excuse for losing it like that, a coach has to be above the players. Specially at Fiorentina, with their code of ethics, a club which awards the "purple card" for fair play.
But I do agree, it was a bit gratifying to see this - one of the reasons I can never be coach, I might be too tempted do this everyday
